After seeing "chewin' the fat" I couldn't believe a spin off had been produced by bbc Scotland. Is this really what passes for a comedy in Scotland? Very poor script in very weak plots with even worse "jokes". They could of at least tried to make the characters look more the age they are supposed to be, instead they just wear bad grey wigs, mustaches and cardigans. I found it amazing that "chewin' the fat" ran for 4 series in Scotland and now I hear "still game" has had 2 series and may be making a third! It looks like Scottish comedy is going Backwards with crap like this. Avoid this crud.

The BBC must have been drunk when they approved this show. 20 years ago people might of found it funny and I suppose some 8 year olds today probably do. These guys should stick to Christmas panto. The "humour is seriously dated. Long sketches that end with the weakest punchlines since sooty threw a cream pie at sweep are given ridiculous canned laughter. I was initially looking forward to this programme as I had heard it compared to the great Scottish sketch show "naked video". a comment I find insulting to the naked video team.
