Dr. Phil (2002)
Commercials, Infomercials, Exploitations, Propagandas, all under one roof!
It is hard to watch the show because he goes into commercial breaks virtually every 2 minutes, and they turns into repetitive infomercials. Aside from all the hoopla, he exploits his guests with personal agendas by not letting them speak and cutting them off early or entirely if they don't aligned with his silly narratives. I'm sure this also has a lot to do with and controlled by the producers of the network - rules set entirely by the mainstream media. If you're into one-sided stories and have no clue about what's going on in our country or worse, the outside world then shows such as this would be perfect as it is the target-audience. In other words, they need all the sheeple they can get to thrive on.
Persuasion (2022)
Hogwash! Typical Hollywood liberal-left brainwash BS
It is clear that the film is lobbied and made by the Liberal left. How can you twist and distort such literature history? It is no different if I try to paint a picture and tell you that Asian people were the chief architecture and builders of the Pyramids of Giza, and their Gods were flying Dragons.
Bestseller (2022)
First and foremost - the incredible Gauahar Khan!!!
While the series is good, I am also a bit surprised with Shruti Haasan's acting and she has come a long way - with improvements that is. After all she's the reason that drawn me into the show since I am a huge fan of her. Acting aside, the film has a rather good story and plot to it. Some say predictable, yes and no, and your prediction is most likely wrong until the end. You can't ignore this work with a cast like the legendary Mithun Chakraborty, and of course the INCREDIBLE Gauahar Khan. Yes, she was the star of the show! While I'm all rooting for Shruti but Gauahar caught my utmost attention with her incredible performance. She confidently captures every mood with her command and screen presence. Such raw natural talent that I have not seen in a long time, especially from Indian cinema. The woman is mesmerizing and she deserves an award, and then some.
Things Heard & Seen (2021)
Everything was alright....until the end.
It's one of those sleepers that starts slow and builds up on you, then until you get this one big letdown because of the (stupid) ending.
Station 19 (2018)
Wannabe 80s TV series 'Emergency', nope, far from it.
Typical Hollywood wannabe politically-correct trash. This show tries to project the image and diversity but everything looked fake within the very first minute. It just doesn't seem right. They gave the green light to ones that fought and complained, for example: LGBT Gay/Lesbian rights, MeeToo, and Black Lives Matter. This is a program about voice, and nothing else. It is NOTHING compared to shows from the 80s such as Emergency or Code Red. A big waste of air time and my time.
Mother! (2017)
Wow, the director and his relatives has conned all of usl!!
That said, Darren Aronofsky has conned us all with the help of his relatives in the business, from himself as director, (very obviously) the critics, to the execs that funded the project. If you haven't seen this pile of crap, save your time and money, but if you really want to then be forewarned. Mother!, simply put was the worst film I have ever seen. It has no character whatsoever (not a pun), no plot nor storyline, and the so-called plot absolutely leads to nowhere. It other words, the film is beyond stupid with absolute zero logic. Jennifer Lawrence and Ed Harris has wasted their time and energy on this pile of dog feces and so did I. Skip it, or you'll be sorry!
Split (2016)
When you can't cast a REAL Kardashian to draw the crowd, this what you do....
Knowing M. Night Shamalayan's wife and three daughters whom are clearly into Instagram and the Kardashian culture, what better way to please a Kardashian-hungry crowd then to cast a Kendall Jenner lookalike, mentioned Kanye West's name numerous times in the film, then supposedly lure in the 'culture masses' and you've got your ticket sales quota. Well, except it isn't as rosy as it seems because the film was all over the place. It was one of the worst films (possibly the worst) I saw in 2017 thankfully being a selection on HBO. I love Shamalayan's work, but that was only for 'The Six Sense'.
Birth of the Dragon (2016)
The real insecurities of white/Jewish men...I laughed so hard!
Once again, they (Hollywood) shot themselves in the foot. Fabricating a real-life story based on the legendary Bruce Lee. I suggest watching real documentaries on Youtube, because in the end Bruce Lee beats up all the whiny white guys, gets the white woman and fathered two children. I couldn't believe the writer even gets an okay for this. Who financed the film? Must be his God-chosen boyfriend's Hollywood uncle.
