So, for the last two episodes, the Doctor seems to have been absent! Is that an indictment on the state of the NHS seeing as it is so hard to see Doctors these days??
The program is called Doctor Who but yet he appears very little in this current series. Ncuti Gatwa seems to have a range of emotions (a little too emotional for my liking unfortunately, he's cried more times than any other iteration of the Doctor (blaming the writers not Ncuti as he's doing brilliant with what he's got to work with!)). Millie Gibson is doing a great job as the Doctors travelling partner.
It feels like they are not having much confidence in Ncuti at the moment with how little screen time he seems to be having, hopefully that will improve. Not sure if because Disney are now involved but it feels different and not necessarily in a good way which is a shame because both Ncuti & Millie are doing well with the material that has been presented to them.
RTD, please improve the show for the second series/season!!
