Rosa Salazar's performance as Alma pulled me into this unusual story. The animation was perfectly suited to the otherworldly situations In which she found herself. There was a beautiful emotional arc to the series and the ending was perfectly calibrated and satisfying. I loved it!

Give this a chance. I almost gave up on it for being too slow but you will be amply rewarded for your patience. It is a beautiful, deeply moving film that I will watch again. I loved it.

Very silly characters, very silly plots, very funny. Love it!
