A close copy of Just Add Romance (2019) with a few different plot details and different lead actors.
Overall the story is a cute premise and not terribly angsty which is a nice change for Hallmark.

Message in a Bottle
(1999)
Excellent Film
4 May 2004
I thought that 'Message in a Bottle' was a great movie, definitely one of Kevin Costner's better films in recent years. Unlike the last reviewer, I did not feel that the movie was too long, although I saw it on television and it may have been cut considerably. Robin Wright Penn and Paul Newman also put in excellent performances and follow a great plot by Nicholas Sparks. It is quite an emotional film about losing and finding love; a real tearjerker. The beauty of the North Carolina location adds to the background of the movie and heightens the depth of emotion expressed by the actors. The film is reminiscent of 'A Walk to Remember (also a Nicholas Sparks novel turned film) and will probably be enjoyed by the same audience.
Pride and Prejudice
(1995)
The best version out there!
11 March 2004
This version is well cast and easily the closest to the novel that is available. It will stand the test of time. Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy couldn't be more dead on and Jennifer Ehle plays a very expressive Elizabeth. The supporting characters are also enriching to the tale. The reseach into period costumes, music, the running of the household, etc. is better than any version before it. The tour of monumental English estates alone is worth viewing the film and the DVD itself also has an interesting behind the scenes featurette of the making of this film. This movie is like an all-star game of British actors and actresses and should not be missed by anyone.
