Wondering where this is going. Seems it will be a series, but the background story seems to be moving sideways. The one thing I don't get at all is why is Barbara Niven playing the mom of Allison Sweeney? I get they are about 20 years apart, however they look more like sisters. Kudos to Ms. Niven for looking so young! And, though I really like Allison Sweeney and Cameron Mathison, but they don't seem to have any chemistry. Being engaged, they sure should have a little more love-pops! Cameron surely can learn the traditional waltz box! 1-2-3! 1-2-3!

...Leaving all these bad reviews! Heartless! I just found this today on my old list of movies to watch. Found it on XUMO. OK! It starts out pretty SILLY and gets ridiculous from there. BUT, just hold up. From there you start really warming up to each character, one by one, as they enter the story. Yes, it's a calamity of sorts. But it's beautiful--in so many ways. I love the way they made it multi-cultural and natural, at the same time! The way life should really be! There was so much glue to hold this together--by all the actors. But Anne Heche was so good. They ALL were. I would watch this again and again, and if I see it at Walmart, I'll surely buy the DVD-just to be able to watch with my grand-daughter and every Christmas! Thank you TO ALL THE CAST, writers, producers, and director, for this treasure!

Within the first few minutes I realized I had seen this before. That was about six years ago, so I didn't recognize the title. Really a good story and I'm sure the book is even better. What I didn't like was the "costumes". Everyone's clothes were too clean and always looked new. Ray always looked way too clean. Everyone looked ready for church! And Livy's dresses just looked too dressy, even if see was educated and from some uppity eastern city. Outside of that, I wish it were a mini-series. They could redo the whole thing and not have everyone look so perfect and beautiful. It gets annoying.

Really liked seeing Clare Bowen again. She looked familiar. She has such a strong presence--she should be in leading roles.

Spoiler: I LOVE this series! I only first discovered it during Covid. I think I started with season 6, but recorded all upcoming episodes. Have now watched Season1 Epi 4 twice! This featured a younger Michael Weatherly. This role must have planted to seed for his highly successful "BULL" --my absolute favorite show. So, this probably is the reason I liked this episode more than I otherwise would have. The role of Roma Strauss, played by Necar Zadegan, was a bit annoying in her portrayal.

Just to gaze on Joshua Sasse is worth the whole story! The only thing I didn't like was Victoria's blue dress in the last scene. It is awful! The color, the style, the fabric sheen! Trashy! WHO is responsible for that!

Just really hope to see more of Joshua Sasse!! Mallory Janzen was ok.

The villainous role, played by Madison Willits, just goes too far beyond reality. I'm sure the actress is very talented but the script and director's role push this over the edge. But I think what got my goat the most was the closing remark related to compassion. Compassion was the furthest thing from my gut! How about some compassion for the poor guy in the driveway scene! The only reason I didn't give a one star was the overall talents of the actors. But they should have declined the whole thing.

I wish this could have been less corny. From the start, Dan was love gazing on Carly. His girlfriend's role was so exaggerated., the end was more than predictable. I just liked all of the actor's ability to try their best to deliver the story. It was just badly written! Great cast! Dumb story!

Laugh tracks are always annoying--more so when it's a good comedy and we know when to laugh. I love "Al"! He has great comedic timing and perfect expressions. I also especially like the real life references and reality?! Great show!

My favorite comedy since Two and a Half Men!

What a wonderful movie! Told so beautifully and perfect casting. SO glad Eddie Murphy got the part of Mr. Church! Only wish we could see him in dramatic roles. He was superb, as was the entire cast! I had never heard of this, but here is was, recommend for me on Prime Video. Thank you very much!!

IF ONLY there just couldn't be more of this mentality in real life! We're watching it again! Subtly sophisticated! The only downside is we have to wait for season 2!

I recognized him from some other show, where he played an awful character-but played it well. I hope they keep him in the cast! I don't ever want to see this show end! WOW! How Relevant can a show get! This is stellar! This is REAL LIFE as we do NOT really see from the outside!

WHEN is the NEXT Jesse Stone going into production!!?? PLEASE let it be soon! It's been near 6 years since the last feature. Jesse Stone should happen annually or put into a series. Can not get enough!! Lost in Paradise does not disappoint!

You just can not help but FEEL GOOD watching a Tyler Perry production! But his plays are just extra special! You're just sorry you weren't there! In this particular play--I was not familiar with a single actor. And every single one of them could sing! All the male actors had especially great voices. The story was so fun to follow--led by Patrice Lovely. She is a novelty!

I can never understand why anyone--and so many people-- would ever give any TP production, play, video, or movie, a "1 star". I'm not a religious person, but the way it is used in his stories, certainly make me feel closer to God or believing in something. Thank You, Tyler Perry!

It's Annette Bening!! Anythinmg she is in is a 10 for me! She is amazing! Anything she does! I just love her to the moon and back!

It's Hallmark, so you know from the start how it's going to go. But I loved the cast! In particular, Chaley Rose and Nathan Witte--as well as ALL the supporting cast. Nice to see fresh characters. Let's see more of these actors. It's hard when you produce so many movies, and have limited criteria, based on family values and human decency and respect for others, to have intriguing plots, mixed with love and mystery. But when you just want to feel good and not get too tense, fearful, or just plain awful, Hallmark is where to go!

If you were not familiar with Leslie Odom Jr., take NOTE now! This young man is so gifted. His voice is utterly beautiful. And the way he performs is what really intrigued me the first time I heard him--singing Unchained Melody"! At his piano, in his home or studio, on a typical Covid day. It was SO amazing! I watched it over and over--running my remote forward and back--finally recording it onto my iPhone. Then I googled him and saw how much I had missed! in particular, his performance in "Hamilton". I did not know he was in the cast of "One Night in Miami". I just wanted to see this. And then I heard this familiar voice! So! So! happy for his success!

I want to see what Martin Henderson has done of late! My goodness, he is delicious in Virgin River.

Especially the main two lead actors and the Doc! I don't get why Martin Henderson has not caught fire and had better exposure. Maybe no agent--or not a good one. Yeah, there's a lot so silly, repetitive drama, but it gives me a nice escape from our real world of 2020 and 2021!

If only I could give 11 for this episode! This was utterly beautiful! I just hope this series continues! This core of characters just mesh so well into each of their roles. There could be so many more adventures to unfold. Just keep the characters as they are--for the most part!

Will Kemp! Hope to see more of this fellow! Engaging actor and beautiful dancer! I loved the flow of this story. Lacey is always delightful, but could benefit her dance with more training--arm motion and positions, in particular.

I was pleasantly surprised! I first looked at the rating, and almost decided to not waste my time--as I had recorded way more Hallmark Christmas movies than I had time to watch. But then read a few reviews and decided there was, perhaps, a lot of bias in the overall rating. So glad that I decided to watch! The actors were great! Developing the flow was brisk! It probably needed a little more time to better deliver all the story lines. But I loved it! Thank you Hallmark for your selection of this author's story and the wonderful script writers, along with the cast!

Such a wonderful Hallmark Christmas treasure!! Loved it completely! Loved all the main characters!
