In my humble point of view The main character was a waste of space I only gave it a two because of David Alan Grier's character and everyone else around the main character it's like a really bad stand up. If this was supposed to be satire it was some of the worst satire I've seen in quite a while it had a great opportunity here and the movie totally missed the mark. I truly truly truly believe that this movie setback race relations a couple of hundred years. It wasn't funny does it wasn't satirical it just wasn't hopefully down the line someone remakes this movie and really can hit the mark on what I believe the writer and directors meant.

An analysis of old videos that have gone viral some of the videos are at least over a year old and she brings in "experts" to analyze or give their legal take on these videos you can watch the same by going on Instagram or number of social media outlets and see the same thing without the long drawn out boring analysis. Many of the videos I have seen months ago on shows like customer wars or neighborhood wars and their presentation is much more exciting than this "serious" analysis of videos that have gone viral some of the videos presented don't have any sound so you really don't know what's going on. My recommendation is don't bother or watch another show that shows videos.

I really have enjoyed the show for the past couple of years but the addition of Sherri Shepherd brings the show down. It seems to be the Sherri Shepherd show. In my humble opinion she is not a good fit for this type of program.

OSCAR worthy performances from the main characters and the writing. Filming told the story. If this movie doesn't move you then there is something wrong especially in today's climate. Great movie and no special effects.

If you are old enough to remember comedy albums and the Black explotation movies of the 1970s then you can appreciate this movie. Eddie Murphy is the perfect pick to play Rudy Ray Moore. Just the right supporting cast. Fast paced but tells the whole story of the title character and how his first film came to pass. A definite thumbs up.

The story is so disjointed, especially in the beginning. Also, why is the black troll only happy once he turns another color? Hidden racism. I mean they break out in song that doesn't have anything to do with the story. Some of the songs don't even relate to the story. The story is way too predictable. Even my 5 year old granddaughter knew what was going to happen. It just was the feel good movie it poorly tried to be. The story also wasn't developed very well. I mean it just jumped right in there not giving the viewer any reason to like the. I just found them to be annoying. Take a tip from Pixar. Be original. Don't just pick a book or story and throw something together and expect audiences to like it. That's how that movie feels.

It did not disappoint. If you are familiar with the franchise and who isn't. It's everything you come to expect. Just more of it. Not looking for no deep meaning, just fun. Some of the stunts are unbelievable but I expect spectacular from this franchise. I don't know how much longer they can keep it up and keep something that fans will spend their money for. I loved the comic relief. Hope there's more of that in the next movie. Good to know people are still making movies just for fun. Every film does not have to have social commentary just great cgi! Don't get me wrong there is a plot & a story. Same basically as all the others in the franchise and for subsequent movies in the Fast and Furious line.
