This is a must watch for anyone who's a fan of the show, or anyone who loves hidden camera pranks. As a huge Eric Andre fan, this movie delivered everything I expected and more. I'd say it's as good as the pranks in the Eric Andre show or better. I was laughing so hard I was crying at some of the segments. The way they pranks are orchestrated and the reactions they get from people are amazing. I haven't laughed this hard at a movie since watching Borat.

Being a huge fan of 90's hip hop, I was very excited for this movie, after seeing the Biggie Smalls Biopic years ago, I always hoped a Tupac Biopic would eventually come out, and I when I finally heard it was, I was over the moon. Tupac is one of the most revolutionary Hip Hop artists of his era, and deserved a great biopic, and having thoroughly enjoyed Biggie's I thought Tupac's might have even been better.

I then heard about the reviews, and was worried, could they really have messed up Tupac's Biopic, I mean really, how could you f**k up Tupac's biopic, I didn't want to believe they did, so I had hopes it was just bad reviewers, and I myself would really like it. As Biggie's biopic didn't get the best reviews, and I loved it.

I watched it tonight at the Cinema, the start of the movie set the tone. It was choppy, all over the place, and had terrible character development. I was looking forward to a great story of Tupac's early and teen years, but instead I got about few choppy scenes of him at different ages, with one big event happening, no real character development at all, even though I knew who Tupac was, it made it hard to attach myself to his "character" through-ought the movie. The movie made it seem like he suddenly became, famous, it didn't make any progression of his struggle at all.

The movie had way too many long drawn out scenes, and one or two scenes that were incredibly cringe-worthy and pointless, which led the movie to be a completely unnecessary 2.5 hours. The second half of the movie did get better and more interesting, but closer to the end of the movie you found yourself wondering, and unfortunately hoping, it would end.

The production value wasn't that great, the acting was mediocre, and the plot could have been done MUCH better. It's unfortunate the Tupac biopic I looked so forward to, came out like this. I really hope they will try to do this again one day, and do it properly. Straight Outta Compton is an example of a Hip Hop biopic done right, it was fun, exciting, and you really connected to the characters, this on the other hand, was bland.

The idea of this movie and the way it was put together to take the audience on a inception like ride was amazing, although it has a couple of things that could have made it much better.

To start off, the thing about this movie that really brought it down in my eyes was the acting, and line delivery. The acting was sub- par, it wasn't not bad, but it definitely was not good. Some bits just felt really fake and unbelievable, a lot of the actors reactions to situations, especially in the last scenes, just felt very unreal, as if they weren't really trying, and the director wasn't being firm enough with the actors about how he wanted them to be.

The second point was the script, some parts of it just seemed really strange, or unnecessary. The sexual-tension between the two characters made the movie feel comedic and silly at some points. Obviously having two attractive young main characters, there is going to be sexual tension, but the way it played out seemed unrealistic. I think the director did intend for some parts to be comedic, but it really distracted me from what I think the director made me want to feel.

The last point is the game devices, it was just plain weird. I don't understand why the director couldn't have made it an electronic device. It was another one of those things that just made it feel strange, strange can be good, but this was just an unnecessary strange.

Now for the good parts. This movie really makes you think, and it grabs you from the start. It makes you question how real is this reality we are living in, could it just be a game? Are we just actors in a simulation, playing our role for this lifetime? When a director can make an audience think things life this, I love it.

The way the movie takes you through the whole story is really interesting, it takes random turns, it confuses you, makes you wonder what the hell is going, on. But in the end, it all comes together.

Honestly, it's hard for me to say much more without spoiling anything. I highly recommend this to anyone into existential themes in movies. Try to ignore the flaws, and let the movie take you on it's journey.

After seeing and enjoying Ken Park and Kids, I was definitely interested in giving this film a watch. Larry Clark has a unique directing style, which comes out well in Kids and Ken Park, but not so much Bully. The IMDb plot was very intriguing, it got a 7/10 so I was expecting a decent movie, but was unfortunately let down with this one. There are some major points where this movie fails, the main one being the acting, which I will talk about first.

The acting in this film, for lack of a better word, is crap. I first noticed this, during a scene where a teenage girl just encounters some trauma, and goes to tell her friend about it, and is trying to hide the smirk on her face, and it's not believable at all. Stuff like this goes on throughout the whole film, it's just really unbelievable, which is weird, because I have seen a few of the actors in this, do very well in other films. This was the main failure of the film, the only character that was really believable to me was Bobby Kent, played by Nick Stahl.

Now, this film had an interesting story, which apparently was based on a true story, while the film exaggerates some parts, as you would expect. The film fails to bring this story to life and make it believable, there are so many plot holes, and so many parts where you are asking yourself "Are a bunch of young adults really stupid enough, to do/say this s**t?". That is what was going on in my mind for half the film, also there seemed to be many points, where the same questions get asked and answered, over and over again.

This is most of what I have to say about the film, but the last thing I have to mention, is a scene where they are talking in a circle, and to shoot it, someone just stands in the middle of the circle spinning the camera around. I have a feeling Larry Clark was trying to copy the scene at the beginning of Reservoir Dogs, but he failed here. It was just a pointless gimmick that was ultimately annoying, and I ended up skipping the scene, because it was making me feel sick, as the circle was much smaller then in Reservoir Dogs.

I give props to Larry Clark for trying to make this story on film, but he didn't succeed in my eyes, and made a movie that I wouldn't say is worth anyone's time. This made me hesitant to check out his other films, and question the people who gave this film a high rating.
