I agree that it probably was too early for its time. However, I loved it (female person here, not youngster). I don't remember them as Airborne, more like Special Forces, but I could be wrong. It's possible that the tone of the show kept it from being a bigger hit. I remember it as being quiet and reasoned, not over-the-top gung-ho. Of course, thinking too much is probably not too acceptable in these days of rabble-rousing. And I thought of their base as being more like Ft. Bragg in NC. Only three months??? I especially liked Yaphet Kotto and Gary Grubbs; both did excellent work. Maybe the Military Channel would be a good place for it, perhaps as a special. I'd like to see it again.
