Seen it all before
26 January 2008
This was easily one of the worst films i've seen so far this year. I was obviously made very cheaply and it really shows on the screen. The jokes are extremely childish yet I wouldn't recommend it for children as some bits are somewhat offencive..they have really missed the mark on this one which I was really hoping would be good as I usually love this style of film. Most of the gags in the film have been seen time and time again and by the end the audience was really switching off and the younger members of the audience just started throwing popcorn around as it was so bad. In short if you have to go to the cinema this weekend see something else.

Rocky Balboa (2006)

Best film of the year!
19 January 2007
This has got to be one of the best movies of the year! It really has a lot of heart and emotion as well as some scenes that will pump you up! Sly Stallone has really given the character a great send-off and I think this great American tradition that is the Rocky saga lives up to its pedigree. It is really up there with the original as well as including elements from some of the sequels. Although Rocky V was watchable it did miss the mark somewhat and this instalment really rectifies the situation and I'm sure the messages will ring true and inspire millions of people worldwide for generations to come.

Most reassuringly we have a great soundtrack!

Keep Punching!

The Contender (2005– )

The best reality show i've ever seen!
12 March 2005
Unlike a lot of reality shows this one is brilliantly made and edited and is very classy, Stallone and Sugar Ray combine to make a truly great piece of entertainment. The show has had to face a lot of adversaries such as the awful copy-cat attempt - the next great champ, also it has been delayed and put in a very difficult time-slot and lets be honest boxing is not what it used to be, what's more one of the contestants even committed suicide a few months after filming for an unknown reason. However the final product is worth everything they have put in and the program is a visual spectacle with the fight at the end of every episode being the highlight. Luckily it doesn't just focus on boxing, even those who don't watch boxing will love it as it is concentrated on the moving stories of the boxers and their families.

Great Stuff!
