Out of Control (2009)
Really bad
Gave up after 10 minutes.
When they are at the scene in the auto wreckers and Linda's character comes up with a rather whole looking 9mm projectile and says it is a 9mm. She then says as a question, Glock? the one male cop says, Glock 9 (no such model). You can't tell what make of gun fired a bullet by looking at the bullet.
Wouldn't subject myself to anything further after this scene. save the 90 minutes of your life for watching the test pattern channel, or watching paint dry.
Carter (2018)
Episode 2 - Bad police
SPOILER: Barely managed to make it through episode 2. A suspect holds 2 people using a prohibited gun (barrel under 4.2 inches with a double whammy of being a 32 calibre, also prohibited in Canada) and the main female character who is a police detective, and in the first episode accepted when a civilian said that they had a permit for the hand gun they carried (never going to happen unless you are politically connected or are really rich), didn't arrest anyone for having this prohibited hand gun. Not to mention that Carters live in help frequently pulls a shotgun on people and they never get arrested! Jerry should get his secret identity back.
Private Eyes (2016)
Waiting for Season 3
I have to agree with triggergotstuffed (16 July 2016), this is a light show. It also reminders me the show Diamonds (1987 - 1989), also Canadian, private eye show that took place around Toronto. Staring Nicholas Campbell years before he did Da Vinci's Inquest. Where 2 actors had a TV show about a married couple who played private eyes on TV, the show gets cancelled, they divorced, and became real life private eye's after that. the hook being that they would use their acting skills for any under cover or stings they needed to do (check the show out if you can find it). At the time it was also accused of trying to be Moonlighting.
But in the mean time, I wait for Season 3.
