Za danas toliko (2024)
Infantilism rather than a positive outlook on life
The fundamental problem with the screenplay is that the film's positivity is not based on the wisdom of characters who choose happiness over sadness in life, but rather on absolute infantilism that surfaces at every turn in the movie. Everyone in the film is immature, and it's unclear how they manage to get by day-to-day without the presence of an adult. One of the most blatant examples of total infantilism is the fact that in one scene, the characters drive a convertible in a way that, according to recent regulations, is a reason for vehicle confiscation due to endangering the safety of a minor. Thoughtlessness and illogical behavior are evident at every step. Although I understand why people like this movie-the music appeals to everyone, from Pavarotti to Garavi Sokak. Also, the infantile humor of Miodrag Petrovic Ckalja, as well as the type of humor from TV series like 'Bela ladja' and 'Selo gori a baba se ceslja', is very well received in our region, thus providing fertile ground for this film.
