The Haunting of Hill House: Silence Lay Steadily (2018)
Note for the bad or mediocre reviewers
I've been reading a lot of criticism about this episode not being "scary" or filled with "tension" and I really don't think those people got what the show was about. Again this is just my opinion but hear me hour.
First off the finale is absolutely breathtaking. It was emotional and the perfect ending to a masterpiece of horror. I never the shows goal was never to purposely create tension and horror. It came naturally out of the family drama.
The show at its heart is to me a family drama. While the conversations and monologues may not have been traditionally scary, they are experiencing terrifying circumstances. Facing your regrets, which is what all the characters are doing with Nell, can be scary. Watching your brother on the brink of death, can be terrifying. All the characters going through their different flashbacks and having to confront their regrets is a scary proposition.
The point wasn't to scare you individually but to rather experience their fear. Again that's just me. I think the show beginning to end is a masterpiece. Wish this ep was much high rated.
The 100: The Last War (2020)
Overall extremely satisfying but still wanting more
I have to say it was a great finale. A lot of amazing cameos and a lot of twists. Though I sort of wish they had time to expand on these transcendence beings and sort of fleshed them out more instead of just pushing them in the last hour. Also would have loved to see a Bellamy one last time. Js. But still a great finale. Gonna remember this one!
The 100: A Sort of Homecoming (2020)
Reunions
Great episode. So many emotional reunions that needed to happen. Can't wait for the last two eps!
For the bellarke peeps, stop projecting a romantic relationship that wasn't there. Clark and Bellamy were two people who were defined by the actions they took to protect the ones they love. In that case, his death is very fitting thematically.
Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet: Quarantine (2020)

Ozark: Boss Fight (2020)
The complexity of Marty Byrde
This is an amazing episode where you get to really see the psychology of Marty and it paints him as his extremely complex character, one of the most I've ever seen in awhile.
He's a man who always runs always from his problems by escaping into his safety net of solving financial problems. When he escapes his problems, he loses his sense of empathy and compassion for other people's wants and desires because he wants to be rewarded and acknowledged for his accomplishments. He doesn't consider having empathy an accomplishment.
At the end, he finally acknowledges this about himself and lets himself into his own safety net of laundering money and dealing with numbers.
The Walking Dead: The Tower (2020)
Princess
Why do I have a feeling the Princess is going to become the Jar Jar of the walking dead universe?
Taylor Tomlinson: Quarter-Life Crisis (2020)
Guys can laugh too
Often when female comedians put out specials, I find there's this stereotype that guys won't find them funny and it's only humor that women will get. (I don't think it's true, but I've found that some people think that)
As a guy, I found this special absolutely hilarious and the humor can be found by both men and women. I assure you. Looking forward to what Taylor does next!!
Schitt$ Creek: Housewarming (2019)
Drunk Ted
Loved this episode. Extremely funny. I will say it and I will say it again. DRUNK TED IS FUN TED
Sex Education: Episode 5 (2020)
I don't know
While I am personally annoyed by what they're doing with Otis, I do think it's sad but inherently funny that he sends the text right as Ola breaks up with him
The Good Place: The Answer (2019)

I went from being fine to tearing up in 5 seconds and I am 19 year old man. HOW???

The 100 (2014)
Everybody is Overreacting! Its not too bad! Please Read!!
For the fourth season: Guys, it is not fair to the show to insult it just for being rated badly. Just because it says TV-14, doesn't make the writing, acting, or directing better or worse. Now on to the parts that matter.
The writing has faltered a bit. I do agree that Bellany needs to have some purpose to his actions, but there is a purpose. He isn't given any direction. Pike came to him in a moment of weakness and Pike took advantage of him. Though it isn't really shown that to be his purpose I must admit.
The acting is on point as per usual and the directing is fine. So I don't understand why everyone is overreacting about this whole season. I think it maybe one of the best seasons yet. The TV-14 rating might want to go up, but the edginess of the show is what makes it great!
