super tears, poor spider - man cries as a baby face, the tears of a Love story not a comic hero movie.
25 April 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Hey, i think this spider - man is the most melodramatic ever. A hero that cries twice or more for her lovely Mary Jane is not super, and this film present Parker in the mood for Love , always (or frequently, at least) ! The balance leans on loading love with Mary Jane rather than spider - man' duties, the resources of a hero! I am sure, spidey 3 tears make onion soup tasty ...

The visual effects are very good, and the action of battles but too short (!) in comparison with movie' runtime.

The spidey 3 News are:

1. The spider man is sometimes "dark" , "bad" and wears a black uniform ! (not as Batman's suit but similar with his original) because of an alien material that followed him from a meteorite that dropped in earth (maby in N.Y Central Park)!

2. The alliance with Norman Osborn !

3. Two deadly enemies: Sandman (the fugitive Flint Marco who killed Spider-man's uncle in episode 2 - accidentally !) and the Venom (Eddie Brock) who lost his job and girl from Spider - man (so he wants revenge and acts like Faust)

4. Parker's greatest battle is within himself. Between the dark - bad, and the innocent - pure hero. The balance between his devotion to Mary Jane and his spider-super duties !

A new generation psycho thriller
11 April 2007
This is a movie about secrets. Those we have. Those we share. And those we'll do anything to protect.

Rowena (Halle Berry) is an investigative reporter who has perfected the art of exposing other people's secrets. So when childhood friend Grace Clayton, who was having an affair with married advertising executive Harrison (Bruce Willis), turns up murdered, Rowena is determined to find the truth. Thanks to her associate, tech-savvy Miles (Giovanni Ribisi), Rowena gains access to Grace's e-mail and learns that Grace was threatening to go to Hill's wife. Armed with that knowledge, Rowena goes undercover and becomes the perfect stranger – first as a temp, Katherine, in Hill's advertising agency, and then as Rocketgirl aka Veronica, another one of his online paramours. She watches the unsuspecting Hill from all sides, taking note of his wife doing the same. This is a man with an appetite for power, a weakness for women, and a wife on alert. But in exposing Hill's secrets Ro unwittingly discovers a connection between Grace and two significant people in her life; her boyfriend, Cameron (Gary Dourdan) and her best friend, Miles, leaving her feeling confused, betrayed, and with no one to trust on this journey. The closer Ro gets to the truth, the more we begin to ask:

What was this secret Grace had?

And why would someone kill to protect it?

In a film about secrets and advertising, not everything is as it seems.

Great modern Russian cinematography...
21 November 2006
This film touched me when i watched at a movie theater mostly as the last film of the young director Sergei Bodrov Jr. The story of a possible kidnapping of a child is common but you feel weird watching this film, you consider the power of money is above the human souls, bodies and lives in the birth of a new nation from its ashes... It was very melancholic to notice that S. B. Jr. is dead and SYOSTRY was his first and last movie. For this man and his dream to show us the new "corrupted" face of Russia the jobbery and the "corrosion" comparing with old "pure" and bureaucratic face of USSR, this is like an ode to life and death. He seems to fight the mobs inside the "story" even if the happy end became really "deadly" to this young cinematic "poet" through the strong family relations between two sisters, the "old Russia" and the "new Russia"... the Russia of Capital and the modern gangsters...

Music of the film was lyric, melodic and full of different emotions with sadness being the top as Victor Tsoy is dead too, as much many realistic things happened we felt spooky and chill more about the young children or adults "victims" of "mobs".

This is a must to see if you love Russian cinema, old or new, and i am sure that you will be touched very much. The
