Do they actually think that a handful of people can launch a shuttle and control it from the ground? Much less FLY to the moon on 2 engines and blow up a alien inside the moon? That has to be the STUPIDEST WRITING I have ever seen in a movie. They have left all of reality behind...they need to call this the twilight zone moonfall because it has absolutely no basis in reality! .There is absolutely no way this could ever happen. How stupid do they think the audience is? They must think they are pretty dumb to believe any of this junk!

This movie basically made the man that was supposed to be the law of the town into a murderer! What kind of message it was trying to send to the audience I do not know, but it was stupid, I can say that! In the end the sheriff DESERVED WHAT HE GOT! He deserved to be shot down like a dog and that was what happened! He ruled by fear...until the townsfolk took enough of it and killed him! He could have quit at anytime, but the only thing stopping him was pride. And the way he handled situations only made things worse! But the most idiotic part of this movie was him walking out in the street after he had been shot daring anyone to shoot him! Stupid, stupid, stupid! So no, I do not have any love for this movie and cannot see why any of the other reviewers think it is so great....but for me it made absolutely no sense and was just a dumb movie. No reason was given to the viewers about WHY he was the way he was, I guess they wanted viewers to guess that also. Again, how people think this was a great movie is beyond me! To me it was pure junk!

I remember a time when Bruce Willis being in a movie meant it was going to be good.....I do not claim to know what happened to him, but MAN HAS HE SLIPPED! This movie is wayyyy worse than a B movie as well as trying to be an alien ripoff....It was just completely horrible! I am surprised that Bruce Willis would be involved in such a horrible film. I would have given this a MINUS ONE, but they did not have it available! AVOID THIS MOVIE AT ALL COSTS if you have not already watched it....if you have ...well I feel sorry for the two hours of your life you will never get back. That is all I can say..
