They made candyman boring. The sexy mystical candyman is gone, and now it's just hook killer. The ideas in expanding the lore were good, but very poorly executed and didn't really bring anything interesting to the story.

It's not a bad movie, but very very average compared to the original.

The visuals are stunning and the plot is alright but that's about it. I didn't care about most of the characters, and it felt like the character development was poorly executed. Also the slow pacing didn't help that part, because it made me even more uninterested in them and I just wanted the story to go on.

Another issue was the names of the tribes and persons and planets, half the time I wasn't sure who they're talking about because there were so many names. I think this would be better at second watch, but now it was just barely above average.

For me this is a 10/10. The urban legend idea is fascinating, the characters and acting is great, and it's a package that kept me interested all the way. For me the whole story and how it unfolds is just one of the greatest. It's just fantastic.

It's not that bad honestly. I can see why people hate it, but if u like the cheesy side of horror movies it's a fun watch.

What I most like is the idea and the kinda occult theme it has. Plot could have been better, but it offers good jumpscares and interesting ghosts, and it keeps you entertained.

This is one of the better horror movies i've seen in a while. It's very entertaining and unique while still being somewhat scary.

This movie made the found footage genre what it is today, but that's not the reason why it should be considered a classic. It's really quite scary, it engages you and you won't get bored at any point. Plotwise it's maybe not the ''best movie'' but it does what it's designed to, and it really is a full experience that will stick with you, and it's easily better than many found footage films.

Very very entertaining. Mixes horror comedy and action perfectly, and even character development can be found in an otherwise weird and action driven movie. Classic.

A fun horror comedy with very entertaining weirdness. But, to me it doesn't offer anything special, and I think Evil Dead 2 was way better than this, even if this had some funnier scenes. Overall a good movie but doesn't hold up to the first movies.

I enjoyed it. It's a slasher with good halloween atmosphere. The characters are not that relatable, but the acting is okay and I really got into this one. Not the best film by any means but if you just want to relax and watch an interesting movie with fun halloween feeling, this is for you.

It's definitely not the most well written or believable movie, but it gives solid entertainment, and I didn't feel like it was too long or unstructured. Sure, the plot sometimes was a little bit poorly written but overall definitely enjoyable movie.

In addition to zombie action, this movie also deals with very serious topics. Really makes you think.
