Watched half so far
5 January 2019
I watched half of the movie. When Kajal opens the suitcase, and Harry brings to his mom the girl. I can only rate the first half, it was absolutely unbelievably amazing. I actually am hesitating to continue to watch the rest of the movie because I don't want it to ruin the movie for me. The rating is due to Anil's character, absolute absolute man. Total man. That's it. 10 on 10.

I see this in my family
4 January 2019
This is such a true movie. I see this evident in multiple families around me, verbatim. I know the father loves everyone and wants to let them do whatever they want, but that leads to major problems. So if you truly love them, then give true love, don't fall or let others fall. If someone is falling, love is not watching them fall. This is a great family movie that shows that love is not passion, as we think it is today, but its doing what's right for the good of the family unit. True happiness is seeing the other happy, even if they can't see that happiness in the short term. True respect is respecting your elders. The father has a responsibility of love, and this movie accurately portrays the issues if he does not take that responsibility.

The only knock I have on this movie is that the patch-up between the quiet father and his wife happens within 15 seconds, it was too quick, looked too forced.

Brock and Venom And Riot And Drake good. Romance embarassingly wimp
11 November 2018
Warning: Spoilers
The rest though seeing the symbiosis between Brock and Drake, between Brock and Venom, between Drake and population, between Drake and Riot, totally awesome. The animation was totally awesome. Drake was definitely no Trevor. They could have worked more on that. I would have had another actor in Drake's place, it just didn't fit the comic.

Story is good if you take out the absolutely wimp romance going on here. I would have given this a 10 if it wasn't for the embarrassment of a man romance here. Only manly part was where he he took advantage to get info off her and got her fired. Which was him being a real man, doing something that the chick can't see it and thought was bad, but it was actually for her own good. Chick two-timing him and Brock being such a loser saying he misses her, wants her back. This really took a lot away from Brock and Venom.

The competition between Peter Parker also could have been nice. That friendly competition between bros adds a bit. I always never understood how Spiderman could beat Venom, it's just not possible.

But I like how this movie is about the comradery between Venom and Brock. This made up for the bad Drake cast, and the embarrassment of a man wimp he was with the chick.

Absolutely awesome
8 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This is so absolutely hilarious. I love how the writers are not succumbing to the bad reviews, those bad reviews are actually pretty hilarious too.

Every episode I'm like this is great I can't keep going it will ruin itself. It's so funny I just watch the next one and it's even better! It is awkward stuff but not as awkward as a show like "Last Man Standing/on Earth". The awkward stuff turns into really nice relationships. I love how two guys who hate each other "ill fire you/ill make you my slave" (hahahaha!) work together to accomplish a goal even if that goal happens or doesn't in a weird way.

I don't like the sympathy stuff but its nice. Oh the one really awesome relationship I like is the one between Ray and Gambi, that is so nice. My favorite part is where Ray comes out and talks to Gambi about him being lucky to be a dad, and I found it so awesome that Gambi was trying to make Ray happy. I really really like Ray.

Oh oh and the FUNNIEST of all time thing I have ever seen is Gambi's breakup/loss with his daughter. HAHAHA and how he was talking about it to Dr Brown he's like "I know how you feel, I recently lost my daughter" as if she died hahahaha. This is the FUNNIEST concept in comedy I have ever seen hahaha. Really beautiful relationship between the father and child though at the same time.

This definitely is a show for guys. There isn't much on TV, but this is definitely a guy show. Not like a guy show like "The Shield" (2002-2008) but in a different way. The Shield was guy show action style, this is guy show comedy style.

Raees (2017)
10/10
Can't believe I waited this long
28 August 2017
I can't believe I waited this long to watch this movie. I haven't been liking Sharukh movies for awhile, since Rab Ne Banaya Jodi. His latest one was also not enjoyable, Harry met Sally or whatever.

However in Raees, his chemistry with everyone, especially the contrast with Nawaz, was exceptional. I loved the chemistry between the actress here too.

The bhai jaan Saadiq was also superb. I loved their phone call at the end. I am going to watch Fan next. I have been looking to get back into Bollywood but Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have been major disappointments. Both Salmans and Aamirs wrestling movies were ridiculous. Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan was first class though. I would put Raees below Bajrangi, but it's good.

Raees shows the corruption throughout the system. The character Raees was also quite corrupt and the end justified his corruption. He did have good intentions but was corrupt. It shows it's tough to be impactful in this sad society without being corrupt, and in the end no good came of it anyways. Sad society, sad movie. 10 on 10. I hope Fan is as good.

Fav episode! Hlilarious with societal truths!
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Hahahahahah this show is absolutely hilarious!! I started watching season 1 and it was a bit slow. But it wasn't bad. Season 2 when just hit on the spot. I'm not sure what did it, but since Season 2 this show has been hilarious. My favorite favorite episode is "Wolf Cola: A Public Relations Nightmare"!! My gosh it really hit the nail on the head! I am a Mike Vick fan and seriously, he was punished more then others for more serious crimes against humans. However, the sentence he got he paid, now why still against him. He did so much good for animals to make up for it, yet people still give him crap.

The tweets that would go by are the best!! I think my favorite character has to be the a group, the family of Frank Dennis and Sweet D. Frank is just so Frank I don't know how to say it! Sweet D is soooo funny! Definitely the best actress in television.

The best Charlie part of Charlie is his language deficiency!!! Ohh my gosh, no other show in the history has done that. This is by far my favorite! Hahahaha!!!! The "philanthropist" scene is HILARIOUS! This show is just too too good!

The L saga is superb, the ending half weak
6 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This review does not contain any spoilers. It is OK to read this. I only mention "L".

The first half is absolutely absolutely superb. I call this the "L saga". When you watch it, you will clearly know when it ends. I recommend you stop there. I wish I did. It's the halfway point of the series. The main characters story really does end there. But to show some moral lessons they put in another half to show that "good through evil isn't good". All world governments and empires disagree with this, so why did this show have to forcefully fabricate new stories in the second half. It totally ruined it. It takes away from the characters that had been established.

Due to the first half being the best thing I have ever ever seen, I give this 9 stars. Even though the second half was so bad I should reduce it to 5 stars.

Ending 5% makes the starting 95% wasted time
17 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
So this review has spoilers. If you haven't seen the movie, the only continue reading if you don't care for spoilers.

So the start of this movie, up till 95% was absolutely awesome. I was hoping for the sweet revenge of DiCaprio totally taking down this institution.

However he last 5% of the movie shows that he was dreaming/imagining up ALL of it. All the 95% was his frickin imagination!!!! Oh my gosh at that point I felt like I had wasted HOURS of my life. The first 95% of the movie likse 2+ hours. I know movies aren't real, but now the STORY WASN'T REAL. I watched the movie for the story, just to find out in the ending that everything up to that point was not real story, just imagination of the patient. What on earth?!? If the ending was where DiCaprio got revenge on the institution, then this would be mind blowing 10 on 10 review for me!

World of fake
10 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
A guy in this world generates fake stuff to fake a fake society. Jailed for fake reasons and released for fake reasons.

Of all the forgers, he gets a chance to help catch and live outside of prison. Why him? Why not every forger? Fake selection. Fake justice. Made up laws, and bind people by it.

It's a good movie to show this is a world of fake. Get name and fame and cash, go to Harvard, Berkely, be a doctor be a lawyer. Fake fake fake. The ending, Hanks says, live the lie. If DiCaprio knows that why put 3 more sons into a world of lies. Now they have to live a lie. Did he think he now has so much money its not an issue?

I gave it a rating of 8 as at time of rating it was 8 and I didn't want to change that. It's very watchable. I re-watched it after years. It's a great movie even though I'm very mixed about it. If the actual rating was 10 at the time of rating this I would have rated it a 10. Fake.

Funny but undone
8 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This review contains spoilers so don't read on unless you watched it or don't care for spoilers.

This was pretty funny I really liked it. Laird was really built up to be a cool dude and it was hilarious!!! So hilarious! The trailers did take a lot of the funny parts, and there was one part from the trailer that wasn't shown: when the dad throws a rock and it hits someone at the party.

Anyways the ending was horrible. All of this "its my fault no its my fault and the girl agreeing yes its your fault and her saying she'll do things for herself like selfishness is justified for her". That was all bogus. It could have been really cute if they had a different ending. The bad ending was helped by having some comedy splashed in here and there. So if you ignore the story/plot ending and just look at the funny it was good. Also Laird was totally undone, his cool guy totally undone by eating out the girl scene. They turned him from a guy to a lesbian it was super disappointing, no guy does that. However I kept watching. The ultra high point for this movie was in the end when Laird is talking with the dad and the dad says "you didn't marry her?" and Laird said "no I couldn't because you didn't give your permission". That was some super awesome bonding. I liked it! Too bad it was surrounded by the crap ending as stated in second sentence of this paragraph.

So starting with a great rating of 10, I took out 5 stars for the "undoing" which gets me to 5 stars, and then saw the average was 6.6 at time of this review. And a rating of 5 stars wouldn't affect that, and I had to bring it down due to the negatives mentioned above. So I went with 3 stars. But man Franco and Cranston were awesome awesome, if you ignore the negatives in previous paragraph.

Sherlock does justice, Ancient One falls flat on face
7 November 2016
As a reader of the classic comics, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict) did absolute justice to the the character of Dr Strange. He brought that funny but serious but constructive character perfectly to him. I was not disappointed and is the only reason I gave this movie 4 stars.

The reason I didn't give it more is they absolutely ruined "The Ancient One". They made everyone in the movie white. He was a saintly and extremely mystical figure. A Buddhist monk. They put some British chick! What on earth? It explains why they didn't give The Ancient One the screen time he deserves, because it was a totally out of character. Extremely disappointed.

After the absolute disgrace of The Ancient One, they didn't do justice to Dormammu. They made him seem like he took a plea bargain. But Dormammu is such a immense character he's hard to capture. The Ancient One is also pretty immense but much easier to capture as he can be personified by a human. They even had a guy with white beard in the movie (the one with no hand). Shoot, short and fat Miyagi San from the Karate Kid would have personified "The Ancient One" better.

Gosh I can't get over at how much Marvel just insulted The Ancient One.

First season was spectacular
8 April 2016
I watched first season and stopped. The season and the last episode was just so great I don't want it to ruin.

The first episode was a good mix of all. The next 2 or 3 episodes felt like filler however they were needed. They introduced the lives of each of the musketeers. It is important background I think.

It did take awhile for me to get the names of the musketeers down. I finally got it down by episode 5. This is why I think the "fillerish" episodes of 2 - 5 were necessary. They still progressed the overall plot though.

I really really loved this show, I want to keep going past season 1 but I'm worried it won't be as good.

Finally! Superman almost using his 100%... Love it!
3 July 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Absolutely love the Superman here. He explains why he never uses 100% and even here at the end he didn't use 100% but maybe like 85%. *START SPOILER* At the end. When the British punk blasts him he pounds a couple times to break it through. When the British guy does a super blast he didn't fight it he just took the hit and flew back but then just does a nice trick.*END SPOILER* I love how they finally state that he doesn't need Oxygen, that always confused me.

For power and action and explanation given I give this move a 9 out of 10 I seriously loved it. However I take away .5 for the drawings, I really liked the drawings from "Superman TAS" and wish they used the same here. I take a .5 because he's too nice to Lois.
