Mea Culpa (2024)

Movies don't get much worse.

Im not sure whats worse, the writing or Kelly Rowlands acting!

The story is not only unimaginable and boring, but the casting is terrible.

From the ridiculously controlling Mother in law to the narcissistic predictable Brother in law who is obviously the golden child, it's all just too cliche.

There is zero chemistry between the two actors who play the lead roles. It almost feels like they really hate each other rather than have sexual chemistry.

Should have gone with my gut instincts on this one.

Over and an hour and a half of my life I will never get back.

I feel like this script could have had potential if more attention to detail had been paid.

Boring and predictable

Warning: Spoilers
This was one of the most cliche love stories I have seen in a long time.

The acting was just meh, the casting was terrible!

Don't get me wrong, I like all of the main character actors in other work they have done, and I am quite skilled at stretching my imagination, but to believe the main characters in their teen years are the same human beings in their adult years was just plain impossible.

I find it hard to believe that in the vast pool of actors, young people that shared similar facial features could not be found.

For me the most disappointing aspect of the film was how predictable the story line was.

It was so predictable that my usual empathetic heart strings couldn't even be pulled hard enough to produce a single tear!

I won't say it was a total waste of my time but it's definitely time I shall never receive back.
