Not to somebody who doesn't like blood, violence, action because they will not appreciate the cinematic brilliance of this movie.
Now coming to the movie, find a theater having good speakers ensembled and has good picture quality.
The first half build's up the story with some typical South Indian Masala Movie flavor but in good taste. Viewer should really pay attention to the narration in the beginning when many characters are introduced in no time, I feel you'll miss the plot if don't. As it happens with any larger than life character there is lot of build up to the main character (Rocky). I wouldn't mind it as the Director is not trying for an Oscar nomination here and its required for a great showdown. But does it put the audience off may be may be a little bit. And as you think you are losing interest there comes a scene which will hold you back and believe me this will happen on more than one occasion.
As you pass through the first half with some entertainment, some emotions and of course a little bit patience take a break and get ready to enter "Kolar Gold Fields" and the pure technical brilliance of the entire team of "KGF".
Start the second half the Director will take you on a Joy Ride have fun and you'll come out of the theater Satisfied.
There are moments you feel perhaps you should spend some more quality time with your mother(The Ultimate Warrior).
High octane background score, Very good cinematography and finally good editing, screenplay and Direction. All the actors have done justice to the role given to them.
The climax is something I could guess moments before as by now I was already in awe of the Director's caliber and moment has come for Prashant Neel to showcase his touch of brilliance.
So Chapter 1 has been concluded at the right moment and the stage is set for a mega finale in Chapter 2 with all the threads open.
I hope Prashant Neel will weave them efficiently and not disappoint because a lot of people by now are waiting for Chapter 2 including me.
