I liked the show in general, beautiful results, but a few things were bugging me.

The host holds a team leader title while not actually doing anything or contribute in anyway, such an insult to designers and the whole team who put so much effort and were all sweaty working hard. If she's a host, just call her a host, simple as that.

It seemed staged. Supposed to be a big surprise but there were cameras everywhere for the before shots, how they lived in the house before and such - you know what I mean.

Even though some of the things were pre-made, hard to believe they finished in 12 hours. And why 12 hours?

Once again, the media painted Thailand as a dirty 3rd world country. Have you ever been to Bangkok? Or at least saw pictures of it? If I could give it a zero star I would. Everything was off. Definitely didn't shoot in Thailand. Even the actors couldn't speak Thai, the only person who actually spoke Thai was the farmer guy (still has slight accent) We also don't have woodsman with pierced mouth like that in our culture.

If you were just gonna save money and shoot multiple set of countries all in one location then don't come up with "beyond border" from the beginning!!
