I have just seen this movie and i just wanna say that it is awesome. The chemistry between Locklear and Buckley are amazing, it's funny sexy and most importantly, it challenges the view society has built regarding single women over 35.
Pretty early in the movie you find out that Locklears ex-husband Daniel has a new girlfriend; he is 42 and she only 28. I'm pretty sure that none of you raised an eyebrow; i mean there's nothing wrong to have some "lamb-meat" if you are a guy. In that case you are hip cool, and you get tons of respect from your pals. If this would be let's say an older woman and a young hot guy, then the woman has some sort of midlife crisis, she's s bad mother, irresponsible; running around with her boy toy.
It's obvious that her friends are happy that she's moving on, but they also gives her; as they call it " friendly advise".
I am in my mid thirties and i am not accepting the fact that men are allowed to act different than a woman when it comes to sex and relationships and neither should you.
