OK, May be it's not Adam Sandler's best movie ever, and the story is a little ridiculous and stupid, but still it's a funny light movie that makes you free your mind from the daily life stress and make you laugh like you're a small kid. Critics these days gives very high ratings for movies that has no any entertaining sense just because it was shot with good camera technology or because the acting was very convincing like (Boyhood) they forgot that movies 1st mission is to make people feel happy when they see them even if it's a tragedy or painful story. I feel happy when I see a movie that sends his message, and this movie's message is to make you laugh and it successfully did it's job

The worst movie I've seen ever. most boring, no any goal or purpose you get.
May be the actors showed their "muscles" of how good they are in acting and how good they shoot the movie in long scenes. The whole movie I was waiting for the movie to start or any thing that attracts me will happen but nothing happened. It's just a bad, senseless, hollow, meaningless story.
I think critics lost their way and they forgot that they must be a guide for the people for what is good to see or what is bad and what is must be unseen, and they went to give a high rating for how good an actor made a bad movie with a bad story.
For the nude scenes, I can't find any reason why would they shoot Edward Norton whole naked at the beginning of the movie, They could "act" he's naked and just shoot his upper back, we are not happy to see his bottom in a shot that didn't add anything to the drama.

The movie name (The Formula) sounds as a good name and the main story idea (even if it's used before by some professionals) is good but we are talking here about a low budget amateur movie with too many reasons to hate it. The actors do not know how to act I was not convinced by any of them to be even a second or third actor in any other movie. A really boring movie from the start till the end, the sequence of the whole story line is not logic and the scenario seems to be written by a beginner. Really bad sound quality and bad picture quality too. They took too long time at the beginning in side talks that do not take you to the core of the story. There is no any kind of sense of humor, comedy scenes or romance. don't waste your time on it.
