John Cena is not only good on the microphone in WWE but he is also a really good actor. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. Obviously no movie is a 10 in actuality I'd bring these ratings up to a 7.5. I am sure there were some internet trolls bringing the score down because of who and what.

Not many movies can get away with one scene but the wall did. I didn't even get up Togo to the bathroom once. I was surprised how quick in got out of the theaters. I guess the trolls work for the bigger movie companies and needed the theater space

First off I wanna talk just a little about the movie then talk about good movies that get a bum rap because it was a remake, who starred in the movie, who directed the movie etc.

Obviously the movie wasn't a 10 but for sure wasn't under a four rating as well. I'd give it a solid 6.1 to 6.5 IMDb rating . The new diary of a wimpy kid had some funny moments, good acting, a story line you can follow and I have to say between my wife and 2 kids no one fell asleep in the movie theater. I was shocked to see what low rating it got. It just goes to show that movie ratings based on a number means absolutely didly.

I wish there was a new law rating movies, like you would of had to seen it and at the end of the movie you get a code that allows you to rate and review any movie. Because I guarantee that 60 to 80℅ were trolls fired to push a movie out of the theaters for some unknown reason.

Obviously not a 10 I gave Fantastic 4 a 10 to make up for all the curiously bad reviews which trickled down like a huge domino effect. This movie was torn about even before the greasy palmed, dishonest movie critics. Unfortunately someone's plans worked and the entertaining of the Fantastic 4 movie was ruined for everyone. I feel bad for anyone who worked hard to make this movie including directors, producers, actors as well as anyone who had been crushed by Hollywood politics Now to give you my brief review. Being from long island I liked how it started out in the small town of oyster bay. I thought going back to the Fantastic 4's childhood was clever and told a good story. Even though it took some time to see a super hero I was entertained and didn't loose interest. Now shooting forward to the action and not spoiling it I thought the effects were amazing and in the same time it always had a decent plot. I would watch this movie with an open mind like your the first one seeing it and I think you'll agree

I unfortunately first read some of the reviews before I watch The Captive. I will never do that again. After watching this film the only thing I am wondering is what the critics are drinking and what profession they should switch to. Look at the director and it will make sense on how prejudice critics actually are.

This movie made me sit on the edge of my seat the entire time like no other has got the longest time. Just wow and an the writing was perfect. Good job.to everyone thanks for entertaining for 2 hours. Being a patent it hit me hard and even if your not a parent you'll love this one.

First off I have to say is that the positive reviews on this movie are more than well deserved. The critics that gave an unfortunate bad review should find other employment. I can't think of another movie with one scene that kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time and at the same time feeling sorry for the main character.

There are so many bad, boring and horribly made movies out there. When a gem of a movie like Locke comes along critics of poor character must think before they put the pen to paper as apposed to making waves and attempting to further there career by unworthy attention. It ruins there credibility

So I don't understand. With so much garbage put there like these boring zombie and slasher movies that ate supposed to scare you a movie that actually does scare you like The Presence it gets slammed not just by critics but by regular people as well that didn't give it a chance because of the greasy palmed critics..

The Presence was great it wasn't the scariest although I got the chills many times but it told a good.story about a father and daughter with an amazing twist as the end. I am giving bit ten stars based on the unjustly reviews this hidden gem got. Whoever wrote and directed this movie. Thanks..I enjoyed it

If you've noticed there is a shortage when it comes to good horror movies that don't cut any corners and scare you the old fashioned way using ghosts and demons. There are to many so called horror movies that have horrible acting with a horrible and boring story. But Oculus was genius in almost every aspect.

So the story, acting, direction and the production was amazing and it didn't attempt to but any corners putting the viewers on the edge of there seat for the entire film. Even If you are not into horror films you'll like this one. Very rarely a horror film you can call a psychological thriller wanting you to see part 2.

Its very rare for me not to like a main stream horror flick about hauntings and ghosts. This movie attempted to use volume boosting in hopeful scares. It failed and was a very cheap attempt. The story was all over the place as well as uninteresting. Although the movie had great potential someone dropped the ball. Director, producer? Who knows?

Instead of proving paranormal the story went on and the teacher tried to disprove hauntings. But again it went nowhere. Instead of being on the edge of your seat like in The Conjuring or Insidious I got out of my seat many times hoping it would end

When producers and directors work with a big budget they have the opportunity to make a great movie with a great story. Vampire Acedmy was not great or even good. During the entire movie I had to ask "what the heck is going on?" The story was slapped together and what was even worse was the annoying English accented vampire you couldn't even understand.

The one thing that should come out of this movie is a learning experience for other movie makers not to make the same mistake of a sloppy story and sloppy directing. Now directing is co existent with direction. One sentence with sum of what I feel about this movie the best. This movie had no direction.

I've said it once and I'll say it again there are way to many low budget straight to DVD horror movies that lose your interest within the first 10 minutes. Devils Due entertained me the whole time and made me always wanting more. In today's day and age there are many found footage movies and I've learned to accept and enjoy them.

problem is with all th bad reviews too much attention was paid on how the movie was directed how the movie was shot and how the movie was written instead of just losing yourself for 90 minutes and let yourself be entertained by a mainstream horror flick that was in the theaters. Bad reviews are like a domino effect, one bad review leads other people to also to be negative on the movie and instead of enjoying it the viewer will pick on every little thing you think is wrong with the movie.

Sometimes a movie will be so prejudged and won't stand a chance review wise no matter how good is it. in my opinion there are too many horrible low budget horror movies out there that never hit the theater and are just one big waste of time. Blair Witch 2 is not one of them.

Mostt people who watched the movie thought too much about reality and if the situation and story where real and didn't just sit back and enjoy the movie and make yourself believe that it is real I did that and it made me enjoy the movie no matter how far fetched some people think the story is. When the movie was over it didn't matter if I believed what happened was real or not the only thing I knew is ice or a movie that has some decent scares and good actors.

Dream House was one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and always catch something new without ever forgetting what you just watched. I was entertained for about 90 minutes and loved the performance is the stories and the directing the whole movie was amazing and in my opinion wasn't under rated and unappreciated movie.

when an amazing psychological thriller comes around you grab it and enjoy it because there are not many made in today's day in age that I would call amazing like Dream House. This movie will take you one way then turn around a few times leaving you scratching your head in appreciation.

finally a paranormal movie with likable characters that actually made me laugh in the beginning of the movie. this is a movie I will spend money on and actually own on Blu ray when it comes out. A horror movie is so supposed to make you scared. Paranormal activity the marked ones did that. In also kept my interest in the actual story. and the actress that played the gorgeous Latina girl was amazingly gorgeous and a great actress.

I like all the Paranormal Activity movies. But this is the only one with the characters would like a bowl and you were really ending to the story. This movie didn't just give suspense like the other ones which was a nice surprise and I hope the next Paranormal Activity movie does the same or even better I can't wait

The movie set out to do a job it was to scare you and for me it did just that. There are to many films no a days calling themselves horror films that are just plan stupid with bad acting no story and as a matter of fact you can't sit through the whole thing. In fear is not one of them.

This movie had great acting and about 90 minutes of biting your nails. This is not the type of movie that needs some dramatic story to be worth while. I read some of non plot remarks which was unfair. Its been a long time since a couldn't watch movie by myself which is a good thing. In fear had a plot and was an enjoyable movie from start to finish.

Seems like the reviews of this movie was from people who judged it before even watching it. This movie didn't have a chance in there eyes from the get go. Oldboy 2013 told a story that maybe was far fetched but thats what entertainment is all about. Fight scenes and a good fictional story is what kept my eyes on the big screen for the entire movie.

There is to much garbage movies being made and to take a remake of an good picture not even in English to say the English version should of never been made. Hog wash! Old boy 2013 had great acting and great directing in a version that I can understand and I say thank you for making a good remake fellas!!

Obviously this is a mainstream theater movie. Good acting is about the only thing this movie had. Parker had a story that started in a good direction but strayed several times and that's when each and every time I try to give this movie a chance there goes my eyes then I start snoring each time.

Yes Jennifer Lopez looks beautiful as always and gives a great performance. Jason also always shines but the movie went in different and confusing directions without ever truly grabbing my attention. I am glad I didn't spend my money in the theater on this one. Parker could of been much better with some tweeks

Wow reading some of the reviews in don't understand how this movie was slammed. I think the biggest flaw was the marketing. Just look at the cover. If you judge it by the cover I can see not giving it a chance. But believe me this movie was more then you'll ever bargain for.

A movie does a few things that make men like it. Such as keeping my interest for the entire time and not being able to get up out of your seat. Plush did that for me. The acting was great the story was great and everything else. I would of spent money to see this especially if more money was spent on marketing and I wouldn't if been disappointed and neither would you. Give it a shot.

I have to say I was right in waiting to read reviews after watching After Earth. What this movie had that was so entertaining to me was the amazing performances by both Father and son. I can't remember ever a movie with a dad and his boy that played a dad and his boy that made history to me in the fact I don't think it ever been done.

If I had to put money on it would I would bet the that there is some sort of personal gain for critics to give good reviews on a movie no matter how good or bad it is and I guess it based on politics sort of like Iron Man 3 that got rave reviews but I was bored watching it. Anuways Bravo to the two Mr smiths for entertaining me!!!

I have always been a fan of horror movies. Slasher movies not so much usually because of the plot lack. In most cases horror movies always had the plot challenge. But Insidious chapter 2 had no problems. As a matter of fact this was one of the first ghost stories that not only scared your pants of but it also made you wanting to know what was going to happen next.

I won't give up any of the story except that Amy true horror fan needs to see it. Most of the user reviews were on target with some idiotic exceptions. Now for critics that hammered this movie please find another field of work because you wouldn't know a great film if it hit you in the face.

First or I don't understand what the bad reviews came from. If you are a Twilight fan then obviously you love the movie like I did. If you want white lights and you didn't like the movie you don't like vampire movies and you have no business reviewing a masterpiece such as this one.

Every part of this movie was perfect from the music to the acting and the story also including a great ending to a story. To bad it had to end. Not many movies that aren't horror movies can make your heart pound in one second and the other second feel relieved. This movie played with my emotions like no other Twilight movie has done. I am NOT saying that the other Twilight movies weren't good but I do believe this one was the most emotional and is very overlooked and deserves more than what I got review wise

Its a rare and thing to see amazing actors with a great story having scare after scare and seeing reviewers bash it like it was a horrible B horror flick. Sometimes reading reviews on IMDb it shies you away from a movie.

Well i am here to tell you that this is an amazing movie with award winning performances. There are to many bad horror flicks out there and to take this masterpiece and bad mouth it is just what seems to be biased unjust reviews. So if you haven't seen this movie and wondering if you should. Watch it and you'll be in for the shock of your life. Donald Sutherland and every other actor in this movie is top notch.

Reading the 5 reviews I had good expectations of watching a well made ghost horror movie. I was very disappointed. I wasn't scared once and was waiting for this mess to end. The 5 other reviewers only reviewed this movie telling me it's individuals who are affiliated with the making of this movie.

Not plot not scares and horrible acting is what wasted 90 mins of my time and this is coming from someone who loves a good ghost story and is always non partial when reviewing a movie. I have learned my lesson. I will do my research instead the reviewers before and not after I watch a movie with unusually great reviews. Thanks for reading.

This is the only b horror movie with sub par acting that scared the tar out of me. There are several types of horror movie fans. I am the type that wants to be scared and quite frankly slasher films don't do it for me. I want to see a ghost. I want a good story behind the scares as well.

The story was there for this film as well as the low budget editing showing the little girls ghost which was the creepiest thing I've ever seen. Now I watched this movie on my tablet with ear buds in and I will challenge any horror fan that likes ghostly type movies to watch this one the way I did then review Death of a Ghost Hunter based on how creeped out you were.

To bad a major movie company didn't grab the script. But I'll tell you you'll be shocked with this Saturday night horror flick.

This horror film from WWE Studios is a good example of a horror movie getting a bad rap. Not many horror movies that can leave you biting your nails without blood. A good ghost story is all you need to make you not wanting to be alone while watching especially if you have a good surround sound system. Barricade achieved that.

Its human nature to prejudge a movie based on unjust critic reviews. I trained myself to watch a move without any persuasion from critics that review movie for there own personal gain. If you watch barricade the same way your prejudice and total opinion would be different. As far as I am concerned this movie should average as least 6.5. Good acting, good story and more importantly scares.
