AN ABSOLUT BANG!
23 December 2022
I can't belive how they manage to tie everything up in this last episode and also teasing us with a potential future of this series without it feeling forced!?

The writers did a amazing job and I never thought I would get goosebumps from a kids show?? I absolutly love the characters, the story, character development and so on! They should have used the writers of this series instead of the ones for the last two Juarassic World films!!

I highly recomend this to anyone who love the orginal Juarassic Park movies and want to further go in to the world of the Juarassic World franchise! I had an absolut blast watching this!!!!

Oscar for best directing, Razzie for worst script
8 November 2022
The style, tone, acting and directing is really on point. But the script is just so stupied. Not with missing plotholes or story structure, but with character motivation..

The screenwriter is trying so hard to convey a feeling to the audience that a lot of scenes are just that, conveying a character (Alice) emotion rather than to drive the plot forward.. To show a character's emotion is not inherently bad, but to use the character's emotion to try to evok an emotion in the audience is... That's why the movie doesn't have much substance, it lacks proper character motivation to motivate Alice's action.

This script just had so much potential, but fell short on character drive..

Renèe performence made me cry and gave me actuall goosebumps
16 October 2022
I probably only cried 4-5 times ever watching a film, Renèes performance in Judy really brought that side out of me, the movie not so much.

As I said, Renèe is well worth an Oscar for her roll, an 10/10. The movie focus more on how the world made Judy feel, rather how she made millions of people feel and how she impacted millions of lifes all over the world.

The movie could have brought up an more upbeat tone and still make me cry and not feel horrible for watching it. I think it's easier to make someone feel bad then to make someone feel good.

All the aspects of her troubled childhood and audlthood could still have been there, but they should't have forgot to make the audience feel about Judy (as an character in the film) the way Judy (the real person) make us feel watching her performances or movies.

Still worth a watch if you love Judy Garland!

Dare to dream
2 February 2022
A lovely romance. I've seen the documentary and read the book so this would be an interesting watch!

Unfortunaly the filmmakers dosen't seam to fully belive in the concept and resort to cliche's and romance, trying to get the messege through. I would love to see the filmmakers make creative solutions to make this concept go though to the audience, instead of how they choosed to do now..

Not a bad film!
30 January 2022
The acting was 9/10 from some of Hollywoods best working actors today! A movie with a lot of very dark violence, but where no violence is over done and is justified by the story.

If you have the stomach for it and love a modern day spagetti thriller with a good story, this is for you!

29 January 2022
A very real protrait of a transwoman in Brazil where Thiessa carries the film on her shoulders like few actresses can..

The movie can be slow at times but in general the movie has strong characters and actors/actresses that carrie them!

I really hope too se her in more movies in the feature!

A colorful black comedy
26 March 2021
I waited 1,5 years to see this movie, and I wasn't disappointed!

The colorful aesthetic of the movie stood in powerful contrast with the movies very black comedy. The movie is short, but it still makes you question what it really means to be alone, and I love it! Love to see more from Ellen Johansson!

Won our hearts
9 July 2020
I'm not a big fan of Eurovision Song Contest, but as a Swede I'm very familiar with it. The movie was actually really good and I watched the whole movie in one go in the middle of the night! It's full with warmth and Joy without it ever being cheesy. Absolutly loved it!

Although It's a intressting documentery, It's too one sided. You only hear from the left/opposing side and nothing from what is probably mostly right sided/tech companys. I would love to hear them as well on this matter....

Perfection at its finest
7 August 2017
Even for a swede as me the story and history that this film brings up took me by big surprise. And not only that the cinematography, story, acting, well just everything was a solid 10 for me!!

And to be honest, I don't watch that many Swedish films as I usually prefer English speaking films from Britten and America. But this, this you just have to see. A true masterpiece from the writer/director Amanda Kernell and everyone else behind this piece of cinematic perfection!

Casanova (2005)

2016 review
13 November 2016
I just watched Casanova for the first time for probably over 7 years when I last saw it when I was around 14 years old. I loved it then and I even love it much more now!

I have always been a BIG Heath Ledger fan but this is just so much more then a brilliant cast, it has a great script, setting, music and humor and I loved every second of it!!

And I must give a big shout-out to Jeremy Irons who play the notorious bishop Pucci which he gives a very serious but funny take on, love it!! The only downside is the less good greenscreen effekts that occur in a few shots in the third act. But other then that the films takes place in it entirely in Venedig.

A much watch!!
