Best episode so far, but, who did the sound mixing? I needed to turn on the captions to follow the dialog, especially for non-American accents. Their voices were woefully low in the mix.

I know Nolan does this, but he claims it's to emphasize what's going on in the scene (background noise, tension, etct. In this case, simple 1:1 conversations were unintelligible.

The themes that make this episode so great - Dr. Manhattan's perception/experience of time - were set up in the original graphic novel by Moore and Gibbons. Of course, the script, performances and soundtrack here are all excellent in their own right, but, credit where it's due, Moore is the genius behind the concept and character of Dr. Manhattan. No spoilers here, see it and judge for yourself.
