Nothing could be further from the truth as the release of the Venona papers proves! (The Venona Papers) published in 1995 show for a fact that every single person called before Joe McCarthy was not just a member of the Communist Party, but working agents in contact with Russia and the KGB!

History shows that the only honest person at the hearings was Joe McCarthy.

McCarthy is demonized for trying to ruin American lives with zero proof. McCarthy had the proof, and now so do We!

Edward R. Murrow went on in his life to take shcool bus tours of American children to Russia.

Great Movie if you don't mind being lied to over, and over, and over.

The wrong hero is painted in this terrible movie.

Why was this movie made?

It documents a very small non-existent town, with many damaged people.

So much "nonsense" goes on!

How can Woody .. a very old woody have a charming young wife and two very young kids? Woody is killed off early, mercifully .. but He gets off easy compared to the other damaged souls in this terrible flick.

The movie details how people with a vengeance can burn, kill and maim with zero consequence. No-one who burns or kills anyone in this movie gets justice .. or even a slap on the wrists. It's sort of crime for idiots, with no-one doing any time.

The billboards paper burns, but the old wooden billboards don't.

This movie burned long before the end.

It is topical in that - on a recent driving trip through Missouri .. We saw billboard after billboard asking for Hillary Clinton to be put behind bars for Uranium Gate.

The Hillary billboards are so much more "real" than this nonsense!

So if You're in favor of vengeance with zero consequences this is Your Movie.

Our current economic situation leaves so many families with zero options other than "tent cities", or moving into a condemned building.

This "situation" happens to so many families now that "tragic" doesn't come close to how these people were displaced from the workforce, and even more tragic is how these families deal with the hand they've been dealt.

This movie .. is a joke - which lampoons all the thousands of families that have been displaced.

Then there is the other scenario which is also lampooned with much hilarity: Going off the grid .. many families having no other choice have gone "off the grid"! This movie manages to make fun of anyone who doesn't have $$ and a place to live. (unfortunately this is becoming a large percentage of the ex-working class) Woody should be ashamed for making fun of these disenfranchised people - He apparently thinks it's hilarious that families who are displaced and living in tent cities - have no voice except him.

Once again the Hollywood lecher's who have been front and centre with their abusing people, over and over - are now laughing at the families who have no other choice, but to live in tent cities, or city slums.

It's not that humorous Woody! Your father who confessed on his deathbed that he was part of the mob who "offed" JFK... would have much more sense than You do Woody.

It's not funny when families are forced to go off grid, and forced to live in slums - but Woody and the producers of this film, find displaced families fodder for entertainment bonanzas.

This movie makes me want to cry, that families who are striving their best to raise kids, are now just another joke to Hollywood.

Boo, and Major Boo for this film! Making fun of families that have no choice but to live off grid, off world is just sad.

Hollywood just gets sadder, sadder.

I and many others have lost dear friends due to: auto-erotic asphyxiation Movies like this piece of detritus only encourage others to "flatline" .. It's not flat lining, it's suicide with bells and whistles.

The Producers, Directors, anyone involved with this movie, need to go and take showers for a few years to wash off the taint of this destructive film! Aside from the fact that this "documentary movie on how to commit suicide" in a "cool" way, it's just another case of Hollywood failing to be creative, and rolling out one more meme for destruction of our youth! I can't begin to tell You how offensive this movie is to those of Us who have lost family, and friends to Hollywood flat-lining! Maybe in some other dimension, the makers of this film will be held to a higher test which shows just how manipulative, and money grabbing they are.

If Laurence Mark, Michael Douglas, and Peter Safran have to talk to St. Peter .. I don't think they will be staying long in heaven! These producers have no idea how it feels to find a brother or sister, or best friend - murdered because they tried to "Flatline" Giving this movie one star is overly generous.

Every other industry in America is regulated to not make products that are harmful to children, why is Hollywood not included? Hollywood never ceases to amaze Me as to the depths, they will go to, to turn a $!

Too bad there has never been a "factual" film about Winnie!

If You are looking for "real history", give this a very wide pass.

Strange that the movie doesn't show Winston in his usual drunken state. The famous speeches that Winston gave in the British parliament, were not given by Winston, they were given by a BBC actor Norman Shelley. Why have someone else deliver Winston's speeches? Because Winnie was too drunk to even state his name.

With this large part of real history removed from the film, it's just nonsense.

There is so much more real history that this film just glosses over.

Once again, Hollywood makes a mockery of history, and the fans just eat it up.

This is an extremely important Movie. When a society puts blinders on and will only hear one side of story, that affects millions of lives - it is a very "sick society"! All You need to know about this movie can be stated in one Question! Every single medication that is sold to the public has to undergo "placebo testing" - wherein half of a control group is given a placebo, and the other half the medication in question! It is the only scientifically viable way to ascertain side effects of medications! This is sound medical science, designed to protect "Us" the public.

As "Vaxxed" points out - this logical,measured approach has NEVER been applied to Vaccines, any Vaccine! Why?

As the Movie displays, in the 1960's Autism rates were 1 in 10,000, they are now 1 in 45, and if the increase continues by 2020 it will be such that 1 in 2 boys will have some form of Autism.

It's time to stop caving in to Film Festival sponsors, and have a rational scientific debate, about the millions of damaged children left in the wake of our "Unscientific" "Vaccination Delivery System" The Movie doesn't state that Vaccines are bad, it just asks logical questions pertaining to the health of our children! What is more important than that?

Looking back with 20/20 hindsight, We now not that John wasn't a Hero, He was a "managed idiot"! History has proved that: There were zero weapons of mass destruction, wherever they sent John, Afghanistan or Iraq - had nothing to do with 911! Attacking a country that has no army, no navy, no air-force (Afghanistan)- isn't heroic, it's barbaric! I feel so sorry for John, and other soldiers who were sent to the middle east for no reason, other than Oil and commercial plundering.

It is estimated that "Afghanistan" is still costing $218 Million per day, think about that.

This movie tries it's best to make JOHN a hero, but it just doesn't wash! He has My sympathies.

It's a shame that IMDb doesn't allow .. zero or negative out of 10! This movie made Me want to go and have a shower afterwards, it's that "dirty"! It's a sad state of affairs in Tinseltown when Million$$ of someone's money went into producing this "mess"! Is there No creative spirit left in Hollywood, that led to this sequel that should never have seen light of day? Take every single stereotype about Greeks and "ethnic" families, add zero creativity - and Volia, You have this "tanker" which should be still in mothballs! How sad is it that many creative minds can't find money to produce their films, but this "testament" to a complete lack of creativity, can get made, while "real" movies with "real" scripts lay dormant for years? To call this a "bad" movie, is just such an injustice to other movies, that were judged as "bad"! I can't think of one single positive thing to say about this Mess.

I hate 80's music, but I love this movie. It captures the innocence of making music for fun and romantic profit.

It's not realistic, it's not historically accurate - but it is FUN! Probably 90% of humans felt bullied by someone in school, this flick turns that resentment on it's head! It has a lot of "style", and substance: broken home, broken school, broken town, broken country - what's a kid to do? Form a band that's what! The dichotomy of one brother who got beaten down by the "system", and one who fought back the only way He knew how is the underlying theme! For all of Us who ever wondered about the girl who got away, because We weren't cool enough - this is Your Movie!

Hiddleston couldn't play a chord if His life depended on it, and the sound editors of this movie left the Auto Tune software on "11" for the entire flick! So if the actor playing Hank .. can't sing or play guitar - what is the point?

I have read the Colin Escott book that the movie is "supposedly" based on! And every other biography of "Hank"! Hank had his issues, but "everyone" who came in contact with him became his friend! Why? Because Hank could charm the pants off anyone, and was a good friend! This movie shows none of that! Hank as portrayed in this biopic is someone who We don't even care about! Why care about Hank as Hiddleston plays him? This picture portrays Hank as a miserable, helpless person. Although Hank was in constant pain, everyone who met hank "in real life" loved him.

No-one loves the Hank shown in this movie!

The first thing that struck Me about this Movie: No-one ever does any work! The characters kibbutz, play office sports, do a great deal of gossipping, but not a one earns his pay! For the 90% of Americans who do earn a paycheck, by "actually working" this is an enlightening film.. Hedge Fund Managers do SQUAT! They try to figure out the best way to make the most money by outsmarting some other weasel. Tough Work.

The movie plays this as "comedy", but most of America who got royally fleeced in 2008 don't find it that humorous! Adam McKay seems to think these men who don't work, and make money by "fleecing some poor schmuck" is incredibly funny. These are the same fund managers who during the Enron debacle, clapped and cheered and said: "Let Gram-ma freeze, as We jack up the energy price" If watching incredibly lazy men, take money from honest Americans is funny - then this is Your Movie.

It wasn't really that funny when Hank Paulson went before congress and threatened them - that if the Banks weren't bailed out .. there would be "Martial Law"! It amazes Me that this sad, sad time in American History - when a Nation was blackmailed can spawn a "comedy"!

Very beautiful movie, however there is zero character development. For any book, or movie to work, We have to "care" about the characters.

This flick gives us precious little to care about one way or the other.

Why does Carol have a loveless marriage? We never find out! Why does does Therese live with some guy? (just some guy, We never find any depth to either of the main characters) The Movie concentrates on how unfair things were for lesbians in the 1950's, and that is tragic, but if We don't care about either character, it's a pointless exercise! A very disappointing film. Hardly worth the time to watch it!

Current screenwriters and directors assume if they have an "issue" (lesbian treatment in the dark ages of 1950) - then they have a Movie! They don't! Todd Haynes gives us a beautiful failure!

This piece of political trash is so hilariously made to trash Iran and it's people and government - as to be laughable.

Considering the history of Persia (Iran) this movie would have made "yellow journalist" William Randolph Hearst giddy! In 1951 Mohammed Mossadeg was Time's Man of the year .. and garnered a front page spread: http://content.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,19520107,00.html As Kermit Roosevelt brags on the Cia.gov web page, Kermit was in charge of bombing schools, churches and blaming it on Mossadeq! The reason for this terrorism: Mossadeq wanted to use some of Iran's oil revenues to improve his country! British Petroleum would have none of that .. and the "terror" started. Moosadeq was overthrown, and the Shah of Iran placed in charge of the county - and the secret police "The Savak" ruled Iran with extreme terror for decades. That is the historical perspective which this movie glosses over, making it such a piece of propaganda trash! On the one hand the CIA installed Shah .. killed and tortured hundreds of thousands of Iranians - on the other hand the vicious government they have now disallows dancing! What a tragedy that Movies like this get funded!

Another attack on Human Sexuality from Hollywood's Smut Mills!

For any Novel, Play or Movie to work, We have to care about the Characters!

Why would anyone care about Amy? She is a "Narcissistic, Drunken, Pot Smoking Woman who only values herself by her sexual exploits"!

The start of the movie tries to blame that on her father, who tells Amy when she is 7 years old that: "Monogamy Sucks".. and this is the tragic event that turned Amy into an Alcoholic, Substance Abuse Hooker .. who sneers at "normal" humans at her job, at home, on the subway....Whenever She Can.

Amy as You can tell is a real "winner"! After watching her have sex with half of New York City, in the final 20 minutes.. We are suddenly supposed to care for Her.

Why does Hollywood keep turning out these sleaze bag Rom-Coms wherein Young Women are encouraged to evaluate their lives by their sexual prowess? The same reason why TV Shows feature 7 year old girls dressed like hookers! It's a race to the Sodom & Gomorrah bottom.. first one wins!

Everything in this movie degrades humans and their sexuality, which used to have a mystique! (Remember when?)

Cheap laughs are even derived from having a 16 year old intern with ADHD.. snorting Aderol off Amy's forehead.. laughs don't come any cheaper than chuckling at the astronomical increase of the number of teens being medicated at school. To add to the cheapness, the 16 year old insists on being hit by AMY and hitting her..."Boy is this sexual abuse stuff funny or what?"

Miss Shumer should be ashamed for writing, let alone starring in this tripe!

This movie drags human sexuality through a very filthy gutter.

This movie changed My Life. It not only tells us who the Elite are, it tells us "why" they feel the need to control us like cattle.
