Worst Roommate Ever (2022)
More info would be appreciated
Quick note: I've only watched the serial squatter episodes. While I felt an overall empathy for the victims - I was annoyed that there was no follow up for the woman who had this squatter living in her place for over 4(!) years before initiating eviction procedures. Like - seriously? Why was that? She sacrificed her pets to this dude? She was pretty awful and I felt she dealt with him so she could continue a relationship with him. This was never followed up on. I felt most empathy for her landlord who had to deal with her lack of judgment and failure to act.
Malignant (2021)
Absolute garbage
This movie is really insulting to all true horror fans. Tropes galore. It's like they blended every D-list horror film and this what was shat out. James Wan should just stop and rest on his laurels. Because if is the kind of crap he'll continue to put out - he may as well retire.
Betrayal at Attica (2021)
Powerful and heartbreaking
One of the absolute best documentaries I've seen in a long while. It's gut wrenching and a must-see. Even though the events took place in 1971 they are just as relevant - maybe even more relevant - today.
Why Did You Kill Me? (2021)
Wish they'd actually spent time on crystal
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool liberal and this doc makes me angry. Besides Crystal-who we NEVER get to know- we get to know to her terrible, criminal family. They're all awful. And besides the smart, darling niece who was part of the MySpace 'catfish' - they were all gross.
The Lady and the Dale (2021)
Not a sympathetic subject
It was a good documentary until the filmmakers decided to excuse all of Liz's grifing, worker exploitation and greed by claiming transphobia. This was not a case of bias - this was a con-woman getting what she deserved. Despite fleeing the law for so many years. Pick another person if you want to show transphobia. This subject and her family are NOT sympathetic.
My Brother Jordan (2020)
Beautiful and guy-wrenching tribute
What a wonderful tribute to an amazing man by an amazing man. Such a gift to Jordan's legacy. Thank you for this.
The Haunting of Hill House: The Bent-Neck Lady (2018)
Oh my God...
I've been on IMDB since it's inception and have yet to write any review. But this series - and this episode in particular- shook me to my core. Terrifying yet heartbreaking at the same time. Acting from EVERYONE is amazing. Just incredible...
