If you're looking for a generic mystery thriller, this is not your cup of tea. Sure, "The Watcher" comes with a good supply of nooks and alleys (and a tunnel) in its plot. But what makes the series amazing is the message it tries to convey on greed and obsession. True that it would leave you thirsty for a closure - a grand or minuscule one - but that's not really the point of this saga of 657 Boulevard! The show's portrayal of the clash of conservative instincts and changes, and most importantly, obsessions, or the challenges of "letting go", will touch you and make you think a while after you're done watching. Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, and Noma Dumezweni do an outstanding job of churning life into the characters, as does Jennifer Coolidge. Watch "The Watcher" if you're up for a poignant mystery, a classic in terms of the deep message it conveys. Happy Watching!!
