wow, my first time with John Hughes movie
8 May 2021
IT WAS AMAZING!

I can't believe it's been 35 years. I love everything about it.

When Ferris is in a parade, it was a priceless scene.

My favorites were the Star Wars and the taxi scene, it was hilarious!

AMAZING! I am glad I watched it once in my lifetime
8 May 2021
I gave it 7 stars at the beginning. Thinking that this would be one of drama romance teenager.

TURNS OUT... IT WAS SO MUCH MORE.

I gave it 10.

It gave me goosebumps.

It gave me time to think of.

It gave me tiny little things that should matter when you open your eyes and really see things.

Map of things.

Amazing story, amazing dream, amazing peculiar things.

I love the colors, costumes, accents, actors, actress, camera's angle, new plot... everything is perfect!

Except one thing... the opening credit.

Too... basic.

Let's just get a minute to appreciate the crews... whose are really really did an amazing work on brewing 2 different books of their own time setting, into 1...

WOWW !

I LOVE THE 5TH EPISODE

excellent!

Really? You call this a "shooter"? It should be a "terrorist".
2 April 2021
I don't know what is happening in the world, but you use word like shooter for "white bad people".

Meanwhile, you call a specific religion or color a "terrorist"?

UGLY.

Change your perspective, this is 2021.

Lost Impact
28 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I certaintly didn't expect to like the movie. BUT after the party scene. Well, scenes. First with Hardin's father then at school with Steph and that miscomminication scene where Tessa kissed a stranger. "IT WAS AMAZING ACTING" I thought. Just like the book.

can I just appreciate the team behind the scene? you all did great! well done!

I don't know where I lost the connection, but after the movie, I just kind a lost the "AFTER" feeling when I really love something. You know what I mean? It was like post-relenting. I should be excited for the third movie series. But I'm not.

Some questions unanswered
4 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a great show. Nobody can deny that. I enjoyed it😍

But along the way, I keep on questioning everything. Sure, S01 and S02 was extremely great. But S03?

I found no answers in these: 1. What's the explanation behind Jonas's old scar face? 2. Who is the fourth Martha in Jonas's shoot scene? I thougth they were past, present, future. Whose the fourth? 3. Who is Regina's father? The grave scene doesn't reveal. 4.

It's brilliant
22 December 2019
I think it is. There's a lot of flashing back, which makes us keep guessing.

The acting was excellent. Especially when Cillian Murphy's at the end of story. How he suprissed but stays cool in the park.

I just wish it rarely flashing back, but it was the unique of this movie. I love it. I love the soundtrack, I love all (Luss-Murphy-Evans)

I really hate it
2 October 2019
For the first time in my film-watching-life, I don't get the moral value of it.

Yes, the screens, the colors, the costumes all great. But really? What's the f entire point of it?

"Don't believe in something new?"

I hate it. Makes me want to vomit

Great plotwist
11 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was basically putting our dream and fantasies of supernatural world, power and politic, love, trust, capability and family into one great series.

I must confessed. I got bored after 2 episodes. It was too much mysteries and puzzles. I got tired of following the plot. I paused for 3 weeks.

But then, I was being curious. I fast click until Myf first sex scene. Curious who's the man? Then I replay again from the beginning for the plot.

It was then I can't stop until 7th eps. The characters got developed. I was guessing who's the evil and the planner. But it turns out that no one was evil.

They just did and caught up in the middle of a situation, where they all got the purpose. Except Myf.

I can't wait for the 8th eps. Is there any 8th eps? I hope so. There's so much we can develop from the story.

Watched over and over
26 May 2019
Since I watched this movie in 2012, I kept the copy and watched it over and over again until this day (2019).

I was absolutely in love with the book. I read them repeatedly as much as the movie. I fell in love by how the book was light and keep my imagination of characters and details alive.

But in this movie, I admit I was more amazed by how they put battle scene as a plot twist. Imagined how suprised I was when I know there was no exact battle based on the book and found one in the movie! But It was clever and smooth.

When I first saw the movie, I love the opening, the crimson red, the soundtrack and the ending. But little disappointed by the colour of the whole movie. It was unnatural. Well, maybe it was unavoidable. I don't know.

But the conclusion was, WELL DONE!!! The movie was worth to be watched over and over again.

Hardin Scott, *sigh
22 May 2019
Like another movies from books. Normally we missed details. But W don't really mind it. I get it. I get how they need to fit the series into one and half an hour movie.

The plot was good, how they catch the most important scene of Tessa and Hardin. Missed here and that, but I get it.

The one that really messing with the movie is Hardin Scott. Here, he's cool, black, handsome and all... But somehow, I don't get the vibe of dark Hardin. In this movie, I felt like I was watching a boy, a teenager. Not the capable, control, wrecked Hardin...

P.s I love how they dressed Tessa in the begining. It was awful, but just like Tessa. I love it

SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, in the last episode, my heart was bumping so hard. I was amazed by how the women help June to get her daughter out. I didn't expect Emily and her new commander was helping her out. The storyline was amazing. I didn't expect many things.

Here I am, after watching the last episode, and it keeps my curiosity alive. I keep wondering and searching for the reviews.

Thank you for everyone who was involved in this great movie. I wonder if I can bring myself to read the book. Lol

Afterall, dear you all who loved it. Keep on dreaming!

I love Dan Stevens
22 March 2017
Am I the only one who didn't want Dan looked by other girls? Don't get me wrong, i love and wish him more and more success.. I mean, this movie was spectacular and wonderful. and Dan made us laugh couple times.

Dan's eyes, OMG, i can't resist!

People said that they cried when they saw the film. But i didn't. Why? because i was too stunned by it. by him.

The song (Beauty and The Beast) was beautiful, i sang it over and over after saw the movie.

SO, i give you 9. Since nothing and nobody is perfect. Good job!

wish there's a little bit twist or different plot from the original :( AND i can see Dan a little bit longer in the movie.

FYI, i have Dan's picture hang in my bedroom's wall since he was Crawley. Look forward for your movies.
