Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television (2017)
Very annoying
Gave it a try but couldn't survive a full ten minutes. Maybe it gets better later on. To me the main character was very annoying and not funny. His encounter with the NCIS guy wasn't something to laugh about just weired and didn't enjoy watching. Found other things to do very easy. Like sticking a fork in my hand or scubbing the toilet.
Tomb Raider (2018)
Different than expected
It far more realistic (more or less at least) than other versions. Its like the birth of Lara Croft like we know her later on. She went through a lot even when she was not fighting. And for a young woman she kicked a lot of asses. This journey she took and the development she undergoes will make her the Lara Croft known from the games later on. Give that young girl some time to grow and she will meet your expectations...
Searching (2018)
Surprisingly good
I did not expect too much, but this movie is so much better than I thought. Exiting, interesting, emotional and heartwarming.
The Handmaid's Tale (2017)
Makes depressed and sad
This is strickly personal, and I didn't like how the show made me feel. It's dark and sad and depressive and I turned it off after two episodes because I couldn't take it no more. I felt sorry for the caracters and couldn't stand to watch them suffer any longer. Sorry but that is only my personal feeling...
The Mindy Project (2012)
Self centered egoistic bitchy main character
Okay, she is the main character, BUT she is so full of herself, the world revolves around her, the way she treats others is not funny it's just bitchy. Gave it a shot, but after 6 episodes I'd rather watch the laundry dry. Some very good supporting characters, they deserve the 6 stars...
Ex Machina (2014)
Some nice Ideas, but...
It is hard to believe, that this aggressive, drunk and rude person (Nathan) shall have the abilities, knowledge, skills and brain to develop Ava and AI... does ruin the movie a bit for me, because it's not convincing and keeps me wondering all the time how he created a masterpiece like Ava. Still interesting input about "what is conscience" and awareness. Great architecture and robot design. Good actors, interesting story so far but could have been done better. "I, Robot" is designed as an action movie but offers more depth. Admitted, it's hard to compete with Asimov. Still just some small changes in the story and dialogs could have made it much more convincing and reasonable.
