In my opinion this episode is seriously under-rated by some people. I see it as the very best of all 53 episodes and I cannot give it anything but a full score of ten in my own vote on its rating. Not only an entertaining storyline, but a very clever twist to the plot. The strength of the storyline, allied to magnificent acting from all the guest actors as well as those in all (John Thaw and Dennis Waterman) or many of (Garfield Morgan) the episodes, make this superb entertainment. Like many episodes of The Sweeney, it has a good humorous touch to it as well. I simply cannot see any reason to say anything remotely critical of this episode. The Sweeney is my all time favourite television drama, and this episode is firmly one of the reasons for that.
