Introducing Bollywood 10 years ago - brought to present generation
14 April 2013
At the beginning of the film, I saw the typical Salmon Khan wannabe playing his guitar with no shirt on. I just thought, really we are repeating the same thing from 10 years ago? The whole over dramatized support from the school? None of it made sense. The most stupid thing was how these "school or college??" students managed to get in to a Nightclub at midnight and danced the night away like Uni students. It just made no sense!? Everything is so plastic about this movie including the actors and actresses.

I'm sure they all have a good career ahead of them but this is just a pathetic way to introduce them that's all I can say. I enjoyed the humor brought in by Rishi Kapoor, but the stupid destructive plot was too hard to bare. Very westernized, over dramatic, EXTREMELY SUPERFICIAL film. It's humiliating how crazy the whole school was over the 'new kid' and his competition, and even the 'girl' because of their good looks. It's very embarrassing and I think this film can make Bollywood a laughing stock internationally. Please don't go in reverse Karan Johar, try and make something a bit more "real". We still love your KKHH, but this is just a major FAIL!

Enjoy if you have a soft-spot for Hrithik
22 December 2005
OK, there are a lot of scenes in this film, which you have probably seen elsewhere in another Kareena Kapoor film. The plot is mainly a love story with Kareena, Hrithik, and Abishek Batchan! Of course she falls in love with the first "hero" of the movie,Hrithik. Then Abishek has to come and ruin everything, and as usual the parents(mother) are treated like villains. Some movie scenes were very unrealistic with terrible special effects, yet this opinion may differ to others. With the harsh reviews given for this movie, I think its a average rated movie, and of course there are a few laughs here and there, and Kareena actually provided most of it! She does a dance scene where she acts a bit crazy and it appeared to most as funny. Overall the movie is good, 6.5/10 for me because I enjoy heart-felt movies, which don't take the fun away by showing serious sequences and make your day miserable.

Beautiful and heartwarming
23 November 2004
This film maybe old now but it still makes me weep at the moment Anjali and Rahul finally get their chance to be together.

Kajol's transformation from school girl to a grown up woman is absolutely amazing and completely convincing. I give her acting as a school girl 100%, and every other scene she is involved in! When Rahul admits his love for Tina, Anjali's heart breaks and her reaction is showed through the emotional song TUJHE YAAD NA MERI, and is a touching part of the movie.

As usual Kajol and Shahrukh Khan shines together. Any moment which involved them both on the scene is electric and makes the viewer crave for more and more. I believe any film with these two stars together will hit the roof!

What's wrong with this film?
6 September 2004
The dance scenes were NOT crappy! In fact It was probably the most exciting parts to watch as they were so good! Kajol was not trying too hard it's called been a good actress! And yes Kareena is gross I do not disagree with that one. I have one complaint though... What is UP WITH THE DANCING IN London!!! seriously I was so embarrassed.Hirthink acting like he's the man, ..HES NOT THE MAN! its jst plain embarrassing oh god.. +o( And I doubt there is cheer leading in Universities of London. "those things only happen in high school" possibly in the USA! And I'm sure they don't go "WE'r cool like that, we'r hip like that groove like that..yah we win like that" LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
