Not for original TWD fans...
27 August 2016
This show started out very suspenseful, with kind of a teenage horror movie complex that was enough to keep you coming back for more, but not nearly enough to make you fall in love and appreciate the show. The characters are very dull compared to what TWD fans are used to, they give us very little depth into their characters and leaves us not caring in the slightest about them. What TWD has always offered that this show has failed completely on is offering characters you can connect and relate to. Characters that you feel are a part of you, so much that when we lose a beloved character we all feel the loss. On this show, 2 seasons in, I could care less who lives or dies, I have no deep connection to ANY of them. This show lacks everything that makes TWD great. It is not for TWD fans at all, it's for a very different type of viewer, one who appreciates a slower pace as whole and less of the suspense. One who does not enjoy connecting on any emotional level with the characters they watch. I can't see this show doing well because they have failed to give TWD fans something them can connect with.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III (2015 Video Game)

Just OK....not as good as Black Ops 2
20 March 2016
Originally we purchased this game on Xbox 360, which is the "half version" of the game which only allows you to play some of the features Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has to offer. That was truly a disappointment and if I was basing my review on solely that I would give it a 3/10. It was truly horrendous, and the server for Xbox 360 is nothing short of an total failure. The lobby and games just abort and kick you out for no reason. Truly a frustrating experience. Then we had the chance to experience the game in all its glory as it was made to be experienced. On Xbox One this is truly a different game all together. But still I could not shake that the previous Black Ops (2) was so better. Mainly because it was very user friendly and offered game-play that was easy to figure out, while at the same time continuing to prove itself challenging. The maps on Black Ops 3 are not as inventive in multi-player, they all kind of run together and none stick out as being truly epic (except maybe the new rendition of nuke town). The zombie map however is very inventive, but the level of symbolism this one took on was just annoying. Origins in Black Ops 2, is still their most inventive map in my opinion. But see for yourself, I give it a 6.5/10 in all.

Its not the film that lacks heart it's the majority of reviewers....
29 March 2015
First off it is a well known fact that Tyler Perry is a man of faith, and he stays true to that in the majority of his films. So when watching a movie and taking the time to critique it for others, is it fair to the population looking for advice on whether this movie is worth a watch or not to critique it from a biased standpoint? I absolutely do not, so in effort to be non- biased and neutral on the morals I choose to rate this movie based on what it should be rated on, the quality of the film.

All the actors in this movie had at least one moment worth mentioning (especially Henson)! Sure not every moment was incredible or Oscar worthy, but how many movies have you watched that received a 3.8 rating can you say...all actors had at least one moment of solid acting. None in my opinion.

This film revolves and thrives off of real life issues when living in inner city. Now if you have never experienced, or know little of, you may automatically under appreciated this film. What many people saw in this film as cliché were really moments Perry attempted to address those real life issues. Most movies you watch today are 2 hours of meaningless entertainment offering nothing more then a way to shut off your mind from life and leave the theater dumber then when you came it (not that that's not fun once in awhile). But what makes those films better then a film like this? Boldly Perry offers an acceptable mixture of heart, emotion, humor, and real life.

If your not interested in movies about life that will attempt to tug at your heart, without fear of showing the real side of an underprivileged and abusive life, then you will enjoy this film. If you prefer movies with meaningless entertainment, or humor then avoid this film.

Had plenty of opportunities but just kept disappointing
4 April 2014
So yes the first one was by a long shot a better film all around. And yes this one failed to live up to the legend of Ron Burgandy. But the lack of substance in the dialog, or the jokes that prove themselves to be stupid instead of comical, and the over the top random out bursts that we could have done without about 75% of, that's not what actually disappointed me. They had all the same love able characters, and great acting and potentially great improv. Nope...what really disappointed me was it felt like the writers didn't even try very hard. They had so many opportunities to make this movie, maybe not better, but close to as good as the first one. It just felt a little lazy, they tried to fill the movie with jokes and improv and deprived the viewer of any hint of connection. Even in a comedy there has to be something that connects it to reality, otherwise it fails to leave any lasting impact.
