I am confused by all these bad reviews. It's a tad bit of a slow burn but it's intelligent and original. I'm not a big fan of her either but that's not going to stop me from watching a good thriller that seems to have really good potential!

Huh? Oh I'm sorry what? I didn't hear that I was sleeping...... like dude they should have at least kept us going back to see wtf is up with this town.... they show the monsters too early and it's boring.

I've definitely seen better but I've also seen worse. I guess I'm disappointed because I was really excited for it. If you don't have any expectations snd just watch it because you're bored you might be fine with it.

I couldn't seriously watch Sean Penn's acting in this. It was like I am Sam with hair and makeup. Ridiculous.

I can't with the people on here that write reviews after 1 or 2 episodes. No thanks, not helpful. The people agitated because it's about African Americans being confronted by hate in the 50s, it didn't need to be in the south, racism was really bad everywhere and still exists today. And if you think this show is making issues in the U. S. worse, you need to wake up dude. Anyway, I thought it was well done. I had to comment on all the ignorant comments on here.

I wasn't impressed with the first 3 or 4 episodes. I was curious and kept going. It seems a bit much and convoluted in the beginning but gets super crazy with a lot of twists and turns. Actually really good.

I'm guessing people who gave this between an 8 and a 10 LOVE lifetime drama movies. This movie was pretty lame and the acting wasn't that great. I wouldn't recommend to normal people that asked me for a good movie to watch.

I would akin this more to a Midsommer of sorts. It helps if you look up Ostara and Norse mythology. It's not bad if you know what to expect otherwise you probably will have no clue

I actually DID watch the entire series. It's quarantine. We all have time. This review is based on me dragging myself through all 10 episodes and it was terrible. Could have been a 2 hour cheesy lifetime movie. I would expect this from Netflix not Amazon.

I would expect a cheesey series like this from Netflix not from Amazon. Not sure what ANYONE was thinking making this show. It's terrible.

Apparently if you never saw the original it isn't that bad. I thought it was decent. But now I'm dying to see the original!

It was super cheesy and definitely not scary. I don't understand why people love this movie so much unless you want a good laugh maybe.

I thought it was just ok. There's a lot going on with little explanation and it's very disjointed. I guess I kept watching out of curiosity. Like one person said, it's not terrible. No, but it certainly isn't awesome.

It's a family friendly easy watch. If you are into super heros and scify this will definitely not hit all the marks for you. It's really more of a show that parents can watch with their kids. There's nothing deep or crazy about it. It's very vanilla.

Potential? Yes. Acting is whatever but the plot is utter nonsense. If you want to watch millennials in the forest going crazy and being millennial this is your movie! If you want to watch something that makes ZERO sense then guess what? I've got a movie for you!

Don't waste your time. Characters are lame and it's Gorey.
