A Nostalgic movie for me. In my childhood this movie gave me a sensational feeling, something different from usual Malayalam movies at that time. The story, the making and locations gave us a different vibe. Eveyone performed well, especially Mohanlal, such a smooth and brilliant acting. He portrayed this character so well, we enjoy watching again and again. There is humour, action, engaging scenes, feels like one of a kind movie. Jagadeesh was also a great plus for this movie. His chemistry with Mohanlal was simply awesome. A special story, even today we find this movie very interesting. Climax fights and scenes are mind blowing even in today standards.

A good watch. Thanks to LJP and Mohanlal to bring such stories into the big screen. It is definitely a different experience watching this in the theatre. Not a people's movie but a Director's or an Artist's movie. Many say negative comments only because they expected a Mass Masala movie from Mohanlal. It has the element in it for a Mass movie but I think Lijo made it subtle, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I don't know why people are so prejudiced these days. Support these type of class movies as well. I am not saying this is a perfect movie, there are some flaws, but definitely a movie which needs appreciation so that they can deliver great movies again.
