Nightworld (2017)
A very promising plot with average execution
I liked the theme and still believe that the story had the potential to deliver a blockbuster movie but the film fell apart due to sloppy direction, script and time constraints. Half explained story and hurriedly completed scenes made this an average film. The acting was OK but really handicapped by the how the film evolved. First half was fairly enjoyable but the second half was rushed and left too many gaps.In short, This film needed a better director and script writer.
Sherlock: The Final Problem (2017)
Emotional, Deep and Remarkable.Sherlock meets the face behind moriarty, the invisible mind.
Skimming through the reviews, I believe the viewers were stuck to the past while watching the Season 4 as a whole. Perhaps people wanted to see the same old Sherlock Holmes which they saw in earlier seasons, despite the world around him was constantly changing and it was obvious that he would have been influenced, eventually. A more emotional and sensitive Shelock started to carve out some point in S3.S4 all revolved around emotions that Sherlock went through, "a currency he doesn't know how to spend" and this episode was the epitome. I believe this episode wasn't just Sherlock vs Eurus because if it was then it would have been anything but "The final problem". Eurus always wanted to play with Sherlock, something for which she could go to any length Case in point,Redbeard. Moriarty and all the other killers were nothing more than the toys for the game which was always being played between Sherlock and Eurus. Even every game Eurus played with the brothers and John was always related to Sherlock in one way or another. Mycroft was hardly a feature other than help. And the kill switch was always the Sherlock. This episode virtually sums up all the seasons and needs a deeper thinking to understand and appreciate the end of the great game.
