It took my by surprise. Looking at the cast, I was hoping to watch a good movie, but it wasn't, it was an excelent one, an impecable pice or art, everyone did a amazing job, original story with a twist, it kept me on the edge of my seat, and I had a little déjà vu, I remember when I saw Brad Pitt showing off his amazing abs in the movie "Thelma and Louise" and I thought to my self, he is going to be a big movie star. And now I just saw Lewis Pullman deliver an outstandig preformance! He will be a movie star, as big as they come. Kudos to everyone involved, this is a magnificent film.

When they tell me, a movie is bad, i think to myself "Let's see how bad it really is"... Well if there is "A" class Actors there should be a "A" class movies, this is not one of them. With the exception of Stephen Lang, the acting is awful, also it is even harder to believe if the actresses look with so much work done on their faces, and the hair cuts and costumes look new, freshly done, freshly ironed, so clean, so neat, it seems more like a Hollywood costume party than a old western story, you won't believe any of the actors everything looks staged, the photography didn't take advantage of the lighting. If you are like me I know you will watch it, but you've been warned. This movie has the acting, costumes and photography of a Porn.

After i watched this movie i just felt compelled to write about it, i don't like to use spoilers, i won't deprive anyone from discovering this whole experience, the movie is sublime, with a profound meaning, very human, than i can recommend to all, especially if you are searching for happiness... the story is rich, full of contrasts, the photography maximizes the experience, and the actors are just believable, to say the least, i did believe them all, and also you will believe them, the acting is effortless, they are just great, and one special mention to Simon Pegg, which we all know for the silly roles that he plays, now he will take you through the full range of emotions. my final thought... don't miss it, this is one of these movies that you won't forget. a regular masterpiece.

This is my very first review, about an amazing, amazing story, worth writing a first review, It's about the search of a guitar player known as Rodriguez, who in the 70's with only two albums, apparently He doesn't have any success in the U.S. but unknowingly he is huge in South Africa, it is a story full of hope, almost like a fairy tale, but still a documentary, so it makes it even more unbelievable, the storyline is well done, the editing places the pieces correctly, building expectation, making the viewer a part of it, interviewing the right people, unveiling the nature of the humankind, the photography is beautiful and the use some amateur footage, combines to ensure the historical value, delivering a well crafted movie, that you won't forget. highly recommended.
