I'm sorry but I had to pause this movie just now. I had the sypnosis open to check something and to the person who wrote it for this movie, did you even watch the movie or did you watch it in some crazy order? You have the movie correct but none of it makes sense I don't even know where to begin 😂

Amazing

Shows and films like this actually put fear into my eyes about the thought of possibly ever going to prison. The grittyness and realness shown here from the cast is truly extraordinary.

Stephen Graham and Sean Bean wow.. this was probably a few days work for them two but just out of this world how they brought it to life.

Very cringey at times. No real star performances here seems like a lot of favours were done here as the same faces have popped up in this film. Fair play for getting old Michael involved but other than that, nothing to see here

Revenge the reviews

I've been on abit of a Korean ting recently, just fell in love with the genre.

I had seen pretty much most films on Netflix and I stumbled across this and I was seriously BLOWN away with the fight scene at the beginning.. this films fight choreography was up there with The Raid films, Gangs of London, Daredevil and many more.

My only annoying little nit pick at this film was why did they keep switching and speaking English? Other than that the special effects for a film rated so low were crazy good!?

Bruce Khan is criminally underrated aswell I just cannot complain about this movie

Okay?
20 July 2020
I've got an hour left of this movie and I'm really fighting the urge to turn this off. God I hate movies like this, reminds me of Only God Forgives with Ryan Reynolds. Hey look at me I look kind of visually stunning but the main character barley says a single word for 2 hours.

I really can't stand films like this. In what world is this movie a horror movie? There's just no context.. like okay the fashion world is awful for women but this film I dunno, 5/10 is me being generous aswell.

Tom Hardly delivers
16 May 2020
Film looks visually good but this is NOT a gangster movie so it doesn't deserve the 1 and 2 stars.

It's just about his descent into madness.

Real shame as you can see Tom Hardy has put some effort into this character but it just falls flat and the story just doesn't deliver.

Killer screenplay
13 May 2020
This film really was great. I went into this choosing not to watch the trailer as I was already sold on the cast and the fact the poster says "a killer story, with a twist" I didn't want to spoil the film.

I had so many ideas floating around in my head about how this was going to end, my own personal way would have been that the whole film was a... film and not real. And that being said I was still very impressed with how it ended although the last scene could've been scrapped in my opinion.

Great film.

Into the bin

I really don't wanna talk down on Frank Grillo because I really do enjoy his work but damn this is the second review of one of his films I'm now negatively talking about. They plaster him over the poster and he's in the film for a total of 7 minutes.

The film starts off well and it's shot pretty good but the story just falls flat they don't explain what happens in his past and it just feels rushed.

I've been keeping tabs on this movie since about 2016 after following the Amell's from Arrow etc.

Even from the twirler alone the CGI looks up there with top high budget films.

I remember reading that this film was crowdfunded which when you watch the end product is unbelievable considering how bad Netflix b movies have been recently you sit and wonder why they release such films with bad acting and bad cgi but this is definitely worth a watch!

Don't listen to the haters
20 December 2019
Honestly I am in total Shock that there is an actual trend going around where people are bashing this movie, it is actually painful and embarrassing to see.

This film was amazing I went into it with small expectations but Jesus it delivers DONT listen to these losers giving it low reviews they are just nerds living in their moms basement who are never satisfied with a movie!

Yes there are a few things rushed but you can't please everyone!

The FALL of the Essex boys
8 November 2019
I only really wanted to watch this as I wanted to see Conor Benn portraying his dad. I mean hey I even rented the movie and didn't stream it. It wasn't the worse movie I just know that if it does half well they will keep making more.. I'm sure they can't have done THAT much after the murders? Terry Stones character is getting silly now.

I don't understand how at the end of the film they go through the effort of getting an old police car for the scene outside the club for whatever year it was meant to be, but the scene in Amsterdam they were just completely lazy and didn't care about their surroundings.

Scenes in Marbella shot very well I must say but I think the story needs to end now!

DO NOT read or listen to the bad reviews! This is a brilliant movie! Keeps you guessing til the end. Netflix originals have been abit poor the last few years but this definitely delivers and I hope it's rating picks up as it deserves it! Don't remember the last time I was on the edge of my seat shouting at my TV! The music fits brilliantly and the suspense is real.

Nothing special

Currently sitting at 10/10?! Come on breaking bad fans we know the show was good but don't force this to be something it's not. The film is basic and was not needed at all, very slow and quite disappointing tbh. If this stays near the 10 mark on here then god help us all

A logical realistic Dexter
15 August 2019
This film does what it says on the tin. It's a pretty disturbing and hard to watch at times but it was executed brilliantly! From his sloppy first kill to his demonic plan at the end it keeps you hooked.

I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about the children scene anywhere but I've seen a lot worse imo.

Solid film all round but the ending ruined it in my eyes what was a really decent film.

Point of no return
12 July 2019
I was so excited for this as I love Frank Grillo but this film was pretty damn boring. Quite confusing at times. I'm guessing Anthony Mackie is the face of Netflix now with no Avengers business happening but damn why are the Netflix originals so BAD lately?!

8 on the Gearstick
20 October 2017
The Wheelman. that's his name. Think Phone Booth but set inside a car for 1hour and 22 minutes. When the phone rings he must answer.. and answer to no one else!

It is edge of your seat stuff and Frank Grillo is excellent as the lead cast.. (he is literally in EVERY scene) How he copes under pressure with his ex wife and 13 year old daughter who are in danger while taking orders from a faceless and nameless caller on the other end.

highly recommended.
