insightful, thoughtful, aspirational

This was an amazing documentary, I think we are all familiar with reality TV shows and behind the scenes with the celebs (u know, the simple life, britneys chaotic etc) but this showed us the knock on effect of the celebrity lifestyle.

Told from the perspective of the children we had an insight to the good, the bad and damn near impossible relationships that celebrities have with their children.

It was touching on many levels, we saw the way the children coped, quite often by changing their names to try and make it on their own. We saw the son of Ozzy Osbourne trying to make it without using his dads name, not succeeding, going to LA, using his dads name, becoming disenchanted and returning again to the UK.

For me though the highlight was Jason Everly, son of one of the Everly brothers he came across as approachable, down to earth and not at all caught up in the celeb lifestyle. He is an incredibly talented (and far too modest) musician in his own right, I was so blown away that I ordered his cd as soon as the programme finished.

All too often we focus on the celebs in the limelight, rightly so I guess as that's where they are but we forget the people behind them, the partners, the children and the friends. This wonderful documentary gave us a tiny insight to what it is like for them as they struggle to be recognised in their own right and not just seen in the shadow of their famous parents....

Well worth watching... Off to eBay now to see if I can find a copy!
