After being entertained by all the quirky characters in Frayed for 12 episodes I find it unbelievable that there wasn't at least a third series. The fact that it didn't get a third series made watching the 12 episodes completely pointless, it was like looking at a version of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa where he decided to forget about the smile. I read somewhere that had there been a third series, it would possibly have been set five years after the episode 12 cliff-hanger episode, with Sammy doing a stint in prison. That situation would have been absolute rubbish. A better option would have been the corpse disappearing for good, and a crazy moment when Sammy's father appears out of the blue after vanishing for twenty odd years having cured his passion for the drink. God I'm annoyed. AAARRRGGGGHHH!

Watching the first three episodes was like watching paint dry. After watching the first two episodes I imagined that something big was going to happen to hook me in during episode three, as nothing happened in the first two episodes to earn my interest. I had to laugh at the "previously on Beacon 23" introduction as there was nothing in the previous two episodes worth reminding anyone about. I don't know how on Earth a second season was announced after watching the drivel so far.
Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I decided to see if anything improved in Season 2. Unfortunately it became even more infuriating. Building up an episode to a cliff hanger and then following it with a completely unrelated episode that also ended with a cliff hanger is ridiculous. I wouldn't like to even try to predict what happens at the end of the second series. It may well end on another cliff hanger and not get get renewed, who knows?

The second series was one big mess. At the end of the first series the idea of a second series seemed like a good idea, but instead of actually dealing with repercussions as expected, they decided to go off on a tangent to nowhere. It was obvious that the mad Maggie one wasn't responsible for all goings on, and it was ridiculous that the beefy psycho on the ship seemed to know everything about how everything on the ship worked. This character with the two brain cells probably didn't spend more than ten seconds at school before being expelled for murdering someone in authority. The end result was that most of the people on the ship were dead, the top secret research wasn't worth squat, and the mad Maggie woman had absolutely nothing to do with anything that happened. She was still alive, as was the daughter of the scientist she framed. We were left wondering if mad Maggie was going to kill the daughter, and were left hanging. Perhaps someone will do a series 3, and go off on another wasted tangent with nothing being resolved on that either?

I can't stop watching this without a wtf smile on my face. The script is rubbish, the relationships are rubbish, in fact it's all rubbish. There's a whole bunch of people, on many occasions, wandering through the trees, when at any moment some gigantic beast would be there to make mincemeat of them, and they just plod on, talking about their feelings. I'm wondering if the writers are assuming that living in 10000BC was like a walk in the park, or a trip to the local mall. Anyhow, I'll watch it to the bitter end because I'm a glutton for punishment. I don't know why it wasn't cancelled after the first series, perhaps someone distracted the network axe-men on the day that the plug was pulled on far superior offerings?

I completely lost interest in all things Power after the writers decided to play games during the final series, and I couldn't even be bothered watching the last few episodes. They seem to be suffering delusions, and for some peculiar reason, think that anything they throw out will have people amazed. If there's nothing else to watch, including paint drying, I might have look at an episode, but I'm not making any promises.

Sometimes I watch the first episode of something that turns out to be appallingly bad, and then watch the remaining episodes just to see if it can get any worse. It did get worse, much worse. Someone mentioned "season two", and they must be serious gluttons for punishment, and there should never have been a season 1.

I tolerated the forced stereotyping of all the characters in Power, but the final series is pretty much unwatchable. As for "who shot Ghost?", I couldn't care anymore, in fact if the entire cast were wiped out in a mass shooting, it would probably be a happy release from the farce that this show has become. I'm even expecting Ghost to wake up in the shower to find out that he's been dreaming.

I thought this good enough to go the distance, and couldn't figure why it seemed condemned from day 1. People say that it's all been done before, but everything has been done before, multiple times over for umpteen decades. The same plots have been rehashed over and over again, with the only changes being the title, the location, the names of the characters, and the actors.
Whiskey Cavalier was light entertainment, pure and simple.
