The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian (2022)
Now this is pod racing!
Great combo of new and old! Loved the action scenes and set up for the Mandalorian redemption plot.
Also loved the addition of lore! Don't think I didn't see them sneak in a Fallen Order reference with BD-1. Great set pieces and visually stunning!
More of this @starWars!
Hawkeye (2021)
Not as expected
Those coming off the high of Loki will be disappointed as this is more grounded. But it's leading roles are a great dichotomy with some fun humor.
Expected it to be boring, but I was entertained. Great sets and action sequences.
Rating subject to change as series progresses.
WandaVision: On a Very Special Episode... (2021)
That end scene tho!
Kevin Feige you SOAB. You do it in movies and now you do it in the television shows. I cannot express how excited I am for the next generation of marvel movies
The Mandalorian: Chapter 16: The Rescue (2020)
Wallop of an Episode
Just wow. This episode sure does pack a wallop! For anyone concerned they would do a predictable dry ending with all things achieved, will be in for a ride. For anyone concerned they'd do an equally predictable Empire Strikes Back where everyone loses, audiences will also be content.
This episode is a perfect culmination of past, present, and future story telling. It's phenomenal score and cinematography adds that extra point for 10/10 rating.
Bravo Favreu and Filoni
The Mandalorian: Chapter 13: The Jedi (2020)
Plot didn't meet action
A fine yet predictable episode. While the overarching story meets expectations, the action associated with Ashoka was not there. The action scenes looked very much staged and slow. Holding out hope that future lightsaber scenes will be improved.
All the characters were terrific as well. Of course, we should all take a moment to appreciate the astounding sound track.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 10: The Passenger (2020)
Filler Episode
Had the opportunity for a moving plot but chose to play it safe and give us an unnecessary two parter. The redeeming parts of this episode was the beginning and the overall cinematography and score
