Crossroads (2002)
What a great film! Honestly it is so nice to watch!
Just saw this movie for the first time, 20 years after it was made. It's a wonderful movie! I am so surprised the fairing here is so low! Definitely deserves at least a 7! But I give it a 10 as it's enjoyable to watch from start to finish.
Britney Spears is incredibly talented and she proved to be a very good actress too!
She is delightful to watch. But the other cast are so good too! Perfect choice for the roles.
The storyline is really interesting to watch. It's engaging and make you want to find out what happens with the characters.
Everyone loves a good story of friendship, love, finding your path in life and so on. Society needs more films like this!
Damsel (2024)
Wow, that was an incredible film!
Glad they still make such amazing films! It's so thrilling to watch! The suspense, the surprise, everything is so incredible! Absolutely loved the performance of the main actress, what a perfect choice for this role!
Writing this comment a minute after finishing watching the film and I am so impressed with the storyline and the idea it it all.
Everybody loves a story about dragons, this is definitely a good one. In the world of cinema, the following quote applies when it comes to this movie:
"You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilisation left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity."
So many barbaric films nowadays, but this one is a good one.
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On (2022)
Season two is so interesting
Very interesting participants with super complex relationships. I binge watched it as it was too good.
It really shows how some people need a serious kick in the butt to appreciate what they have.
Some of the people in this season were really inspirational.
You can learn a few things from this show.
What makes me happy is that there are so many people who still believe in marriage and that it is really is a wonderful and very important thing which makes a relationship much more meaningful and important.
Hopefully there will be season 3 with super interesting couples like in season 2.
It would be nice to watch an episode with the couples weddings too.
Astérix & Obélix : L'empire du milieu (2023)
Incredibly good film for a feel-good experience
Boosts serotonin levels and is very pleasant to watch.
Those who rate is with less than 10 stars are surely not lovers of this genre and frankly should not rate it at all if that is not their cup of tea!
The version which is dubbed in English is so fantastically made! Truly wonderful sense of humour and a crown in the French film making.
This film is a rare gem and it is incredibly hard to find films like that in this day and age.
Who is this fill suitable for: adults who grew up with Asterix and Obelix films, children, adults who love an imaginative story and picturesque settings and overall everybody who is looking for something light and pleasant to watch.
Well done to the French filmmakers and the English voice over actors.
Anna Nicole Smith: You Don't Know Me (2023)
Very sad and tragic story, well made documentary
The documentary is top notch. The story of this woman is a rollercoaster which brought her and her most beloved son to their tragic deaths.
It so sad that she made such poor choices in life and that this cost not only her life but her wonderful and sweet-natured son's life.
In the end, there is one beautiful legacy left from this controversial woman - her beautiful baby girl. This makes me happy, that one good thing is left of her, and I hope her daughter lives a beautiful and wholesome life. May God bless her.
In summary the documentary would leave any ordinary person shaken. It is impossible not to be deeply moved by the tragic downfall of this mother and her beloved son.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Enjoyable for all ages
A feast for the lovers of fantasy. I am so delighted they make films like that which are so imaginative and fun! Michelle Pfeiffer is such a beautiful woman at her age and it was nice to watch her play a major role in this film.
The film is underrated. It has a few scenes which are similar to scenes from Star Wars which is also a good thing, as who doesn't like Star Wars?
You do have to be a fan of fantasy to enjoy watching this kind of films though. And of course it is more suitable for those who are young at heart regardless of their age.
In summary I appreciate marvel studios for presenting decent films to the viewers.
John Wick (2014)
It's so mean the villains are as usual portrayed as Russians?
This is coming from a non-Russian person who thinks it's so mean they almost always portray villains as Russian in American films.
This is very racist against Russian people and is indeed a form of propaganda to plant hatred towards those people.
Make the villains to be also American, why do they have to be from another country in an American made film?!
Imagine filmmakers in majority of films made all villains to be Norwegian instead. That would make Norwegians feel targeted and their reputation stained. Or imagine all villains were portrayed as South Africans. That would be absolutely awful. Why is it ok for the public to accept when Hollywood villainizes Russians? This is not good at all and people of all nations should stand up against that!
Young Rock (2021)
The best tv show of the decade
What a fantastic tv show this is! Very light and entertaining, the humour in it is absolutely delightful!
I thoroughly enjoy the storyline which is excellently made and all actors are perfect for their roles.
Dwayne is so charming as usual, and this an absolute masterpiece made for the tv industry!
The Rock is a legend due to a combination of reasons: his talent as an actor and his good looks, but also his values and life style make him be a good role model for children and adults alike.
I would most definitely love to watch more seasons of the show, hopefully they make more episodes.
Well done to the whole team for creating this amazing tv show. Bravo!
Thunder Force (2021)
Please stop making such mindless and degrading films!
This film kills brain cell! It's such a time waster and ridiculously boring. It only brings regret for spending nearly 2 hours watching this mindless rubbish.
I normally enjoy watching parody films with silly humour. But this one is really not funny, just absurdly stupid.
The cast of actors is a very good and if they were given a better script it would have been an entertaining movie.
It would be convenient if they start putting sore sort of sign next to the PG 12 which warms that this film is not suitable for people who get really annoyed by watching a completely dump movies.
Oh, and it was really hard to watch how the scene with the elderly lady who plays grandmother, to pretend to want the two main characters to be gay. This was especially painful as before that they portrayed her as a devout Christian. This kind of thing is insulting for Christians.
The Man from Toronto (2022)
So violent and abhorrent
I got tricked by the PG12 symbol and assumed it will me family friendly film. It was just the opposite - horrific and full of violence and cruelty which is sickening!
It is not a feel-good film at all!
One person in the comments said "do yourself a favour and don't watch it" and I agree with that. Only that I tend to read reviews after I have already watched the movie...
If the level of violence and cruelty was not so high and more subtle, this film would have been more like a comedy.
The ending also doesn't make sense and is just irritating to watch.
I sincerely wish there was a genre of films which are just comedy and safe to watch without having to put up with abhorrent scenes.
The Ridiculous 6 (2015)
A film which kills brain cells
My goodness, I cannot believe there are people who are able to make such a disgustingly stupid and utterly appalling 'film'.
Sadly, I think those who will read my comment would have already seen it...
It starts in an interesting way which catches your attention and then it gets worse and worse, and as you keep watching you hope it's going to get better, but it doesn't! It is as if it's designed to kill your brain cells. I cannot believe there are people who rate it with more than 1 star?! It would be good if people can start a petition to erase this mindless rubbish from the internet for the sake of humanity!!!
Loki (2021)
Wow, that's breathtaking
What a spectacular tv show! Honestly, it's something else! Just finished watching the last episode, and this is an absolute epitome of fantasy.
There isn't much else to tell, if you are a fan of marvel, and mainly a fan of fantasy, then you know that's on the highest possible level.
The main actors are pretty suitable for the role.
Sets and costumes - pretty decent.
And for the rest of the words required from IMDb, I will just type in some general things about the show.
6 episodes are mostly to be binge watched, as it is very hard to not keep watching, it's super interesting and you just want to know what happens next. Lots of play twists. So excited for season 2!
Disenchanted (2022)
Too many songs
I would say it's a pleasant film to watch, it's not nerve wracking which is wonderful. However it's a bit boring with all those songs. Maybe 2-3 songs would be fine, but it felt like they sang and danced all the time.
The main actress is very cute and her performance is impressive. I loved the animation parts of the film a lot!
And here I have to elaborate a little to reach the required characters to post this comment.
The outfits were great, hair and makeup too. Selection of actors for most roles was appropriate, even though not all. I would say that this film is to watch if you want to make you sleepy.
Catherine Called Birdy (2022)
Offensive to Christians!
Not suitable for Christians, the script contains blasphemy! The film is supposed to be funny and refreshing, but instead it's an insult to Christians!
I started watching it enthusiastically as I love a funny movie, and was deeply disappointed!
Note for filmmakers and scriptwriters: do not disrespect the faith of people by making jokes related to it! This is outrageous!
It seems that more and more new productions have no value to offer to the viewer.
Entertainment is suppose to entertain people and not put them off the art of films. It appears as though filmmakers in the present day have nothing to offer anymore!
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Incredibly good! Finally a show which is 100% better than game of thrones
Every episode has a breathtaking moments. This tv show is by far the best fantasy series ever. As a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and the hobbit, I am pleased the tv show is an absolute delight for us, the true fans of Tolkien's masterpieces.
The actors chosen for the roles suit the characters very well. The setting and costumes are impressive.
It is through fantasy that we get to experience worlds which do not exist, but yet they feels so real when you see Rings of Power.
The storyline is based on a tale as old as times - the fight between the good and the bad. And frankly it accurately represents the world we live in - orks being the bad people.
Snowflake Mountain (2022)
An Interesting watch, all episodes, especially the last one
There were a couple contestants who were so self centred and it was unpleasant to watch their behaviour. It's like a film where you get a villain and a hero etc, but it's actually real, as they are being themselves and showing their true colours.
It seems 95% of people age 15-25 need this kind of experience nowadays.
Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey (2022)
My dear God, I am utterly shaken
It is heartbreaking to watch this, you will find it hard to believe what brainwashing can do to a person's mind. Thousands of individuals who are like robots with twisted minds. I am utterly shocked.
Halftime (2022)
J Lo, I have deep respect for you, you are an absolute legend
I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you better through this excellently made documentary!
You really are a wonderful role model.
I am deeply inspired by your motivation, energy, hard work and moral beliefs.
You are amazing and I love you even though I haven't met you in person.
Much love from London.
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Delightful and PG 12, watch and learn filmmakers!
See it's totally possible to have an amazing film which is pornography free. How nice is that?
I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's perfect for any Star Wars fans like me. It's a feast for human imagination.
The Wrong Missy (2020)
A comedy which is full of appalling moments
It starts so funny, and then turns disgusting and sickening. No wonder this world is a messed up place, with films with this much perversion in it, people's minds get twisted. I wish there was a way comedy films to just be funny, not utterly disgusting.
Vacation (2015)
Offensive and appalling
It's one of the worst American comedies ever! It's full of perverted jokes and it's utterly disgusting. It's such a huge disappointment, I just wanted to watch a funny comedy... I had to stop it after half an hour as it was getting worse and worse.
Three Identical Strangers (2018)
Mind blowing
Of you are looking for a thought provoking documentary - that's definitely one. I am shaken after watching it.
It's very well made and ridiculously interesting!
Bling Empire (2021)
Empty and degrading
I watched it all, including the "afterparty" episode which was even more degrading.
I would say it's waste of time. Not intellectually stimulating in any way of form!
Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives. (2022)
Should have been only 1 episode
Way too long. It was going to be better experience watching it, if this weird story was told within an hour, or maximum 1.5 hours documentary.
I watched the first episode, half of the second and then it got too much, so I fast forwarded it to the end.
Secrets of the Saqqara Tomb (2020)
Interesting watch, especially for people who are into archeology
The documentary showed the every day lives of the people working at the site, which was interesting.
I particularly liked the two ladies who are scientists, makes me happy to know women in Egypt are given opportunities for good careers and are well respected.
The anthropologist lady was so gentle and inspirational.
From archeological point, I would say the answers were as to be expected - unclear. No one can say with absolutely certainty what happened with those people 4500 years ago. So it was a reasonable presentation of facts.
