An okay story line, with a delightful Percy Kilbride, but oh, the singing, like nails on a chalk board -- and to think there was a time this singing was enjoyed. I would say almost ANYONE born after 1980 will HATE the singing. I would say, really, anyone born after 1960 will HATE the singing -- but I'm sure there's a small handful that might enjoy it (somehow). Thank goodness for fast forward. NIce bright colour.

BORING STORY - FAKE SNOW (SURPRISE)
22 November 2020
It's different from the usual stories, but different doesn't mean better.
When the lead returns from trying to see her mother's car, she 'trips' over the snow, and the white carpet kicks up as she goes into the house. Why can't they film in the winter?

VERY BORING

The acting may be good, but I couldn't fast forward enough through this episode to finish it. I find many of Culp's scripts just so boring. It's one I'll never watch again -- which can't be said of several of the first few episodes in this series (so far, all shot in Hong Kong).
The New Leave It to Beaver

BEST UPDATE OF AN OLD SHOW
11 June 2018
Bringing back as many of the characters, as they were, from the original show was pivotal in allowing the children of these characters to help carry the show as the kids did in the original. Meeting up again with Beaver, Wally, Eddie and Lumpy was great as we see them as adults.
It just has to come out on DVD, soon. My grandkids enjoy this show which I just started showing them.
