Mutant Vampire Zombies from the 'Hood! (2008)
I enjoyed it
O.K. so it's not 'dawn of the dead' but it's still a movie I enjoyed watching as will most people who accept it for what it is, a low budget syfy channel type movie. A lot of negative reviews are being given because they are not comparing like for like.
I'm also a fan of C.Thomas Howell and the mock busters from 'the asylum' as they are so bad they are good. This was one of the better ones tho.
There are some funny scenes in it and the action was pretty good too. My only criticism was that the filming locations were a bit limited and the hot chick got taken out a bit too soon.
How to Stop Being a Loser (2011)
A comedy that was not funny
The point of a comedy is for it to be comical and this simply was not. To be honest I found most of the humour childish and in poor taste. None of the stars are comical actors, they are the usual bunch of British b-movie actors who all seem to be in the same films with the same themes.
The only thing that made me laugh was how bad the acting was. I was surprised to Richard E Grant in there but I suppose its proof that the reason has hit us all as I'm guessing he was only in this movie for the cash or as a bet.
There were a few hot chicks in it but overall it was a weak film. No idea why its rated as high as 4.5
7 Lives (2011)
One of the worst films I have ever seen.
Danny Dyer is getting worse by the minute. He was never an Al Pachino or Denzel Washington, but he was in some decent British movies back in the day that suited his personality/accent. Now he is trying act like he can "act" and staring in films with a budget of like £2.50 does not help either.
This film was bad, really bad and half way through I was starting to feel like someone had slipped something into my drink as I had no clue what was going on or where I was. The 3.3 rating it has is ridiculous, it's more like 1.3 and that's only because it gives you a reason to join IMDb and write a review.
