This is copied from the British series of the 70s, which was wonderful.

This is a six part series, and episodes are not yet listed on title page. The first part told stories new Canadians, from Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and East Germany. Very poignant stories, well presented.

Michelle Dockery is actually the narrator for all 3 episodes, but was only given credit for 1. There was no man that narrated this series at any time.

This is an excellent nature series and full of interesting information and photography, but no credit was given to the narrator Michelle Dockery, English Actress of Lady Mary from Downton Abbey fame.

Way too gruesome for me. Why do the American shows always have to show "action" as in violence, car chases, shoot outs etc. They do not emulate what would be most of what the police do, as in long, arduous slogging research and intelligent conversations and interviews with suspects and witnesses, as in the British murder mysteries, where we can never guess the outcome. Violence does not have to be graphic, it can be intimated. I will not watch any more episodes.

This is actually titled "Queen Victoria and her Nine Children" as per the UK title.

The correct name as shown in the program is "Crossing the Rubicon" .

There are many episododes to this title but they are not listed here. I have seen one about an art gallery in Stockholm, another about "The Scream" being stolen and currently watching "The Russian Conspiracy" about the Hermitage Museum.

An excellent documentary on Mussolini's life and how his vanity and Fascist ideals did much harm to the Italians. His methods of indoctrination and propaganda were picked up by Hitler, causing harm to the rest of the world.

Great series of true life heists. Good pacing and interesting stories. I liked the location photography.
