I would rather be killed by Michael Meyers than watch this again!
17 October 2021
I saw this had gotten 7 and though, well maybe they actually put some effort into this one... Well... I have no doubt, that they made the entire film crew and their families go here and vote for it, because this is about as terrible as a movie can get. The "story" is SO weak and lame, and all acting is just terrible! In fact, it is SO bad, I am surprised Bruce Willis was not in it!?

Boring and lame
11 December 2019
This is typical star wars in that it has some cool elements, but the lameness and stupidity drags it down.

I guess if you are 10 and still think star wars is cool this might be fun in a Disney kid-show kind a way.

Terrible, cheesy, pretentious
26 January 2019
This is one of the worst movies I have seen in a while. THE only good thing about this movie is Mads Mikkelsen. Even in this bad flick, his acting is great. The other actors are terrible though. Waaaay over the top acting and especially the boss is horrible.

The story is silly and lame, and so are all the charecters, wich just makes you shake your head the whole time. The style and directing is pretentious and over the top and the overly contrasty look to the film makes it look cheap and low budget.

I felt sorry for Mads that he somehow got suckered in to making this film because he IS an amazing actor.

Mindblowing sci-fi at its best!
10 December 2016
I was afraid I would be disappointed by this, as with so many other movies that are over-hyped on IMDb. I am very story critical, and hate when small errors or stupidities ind the story ruins the whole thing. But after the first five minutes of this, I knew this is something special. It grabbed my mind and emotions and completely sucked me in and along for the ride. I was dreading that it would be one of those movies, that requires a degree in philosophy to comprehend, but not at all. It had a good balance of complexity without loosing me.

At the end my girlfriend and me just stared at the credits without moving. I was almost in shock from how it kinda blew my mind. There is SO far between movies like this for me, but awesome that there are still people who are able to make truly amazing and original movies out there.

If you like 2001, Interstellar, The Time Travellers Wife and that kind of stuff, this should be good.

Taking Chance (2009 TV Movie)

I was very moved by this film
7 April 2009
I pretty much watched this movie without knowing what it was about. I only watched it because of a good IMDb score and Kevin Bacon. At first I dreaded a boring movie, but I soon got caught up in it. I was very moved with how much respect is given to the fallen troops and how much is done to treat them with honor and respect. This was something I have never heard about before and everyone should see this film.

Kevin Bacon remains one of my favorite actors with yet another Oscar-worthy performance.

For a made-for TV movie this was very well done and beautifully filmed. Very high quality in my opinion.

Painfully boring...
16 January 2008
This is another example of why you can never trust the ratings on IMDb. I thought this movie sounded cool and different and it has an 8+ rating. But I was concerned though, because I have learned that movies that are different and have a very high rating are often boring and pointless. However it seems there are a certain group of voters who hype these films out of proportions and like to talk about how brilliant they are.

Well this one was not brilliant! They basic idea of the movie is kinda cool, but it is just plain boring and dull. It is not that I did not understand it, because I did, but there was no thrill or excitement until the very end. It did not help that it has a low budget look to it.

Klovn (2005–2022)
Funniest thing on TV!!
7 April 2006
The best way to describe this to Americans is: "like Curb Your Enthusiasm... only actually funny!" Yes some say they stole the idea from Curb, and they admit that they where inspired by that show, but I never thought Curb was very funny. However Klovn is great fun. Not many shows actually make me laugh out loud, but this one sure does. Frank Wahm is a master of expressions and one look on his face can make you laugh. Also the show seems to go way beyond the normal tabu subjects and have no problem using cancer or what not as a punchline. The humor can be very "dark" at times, but thats one of the things that sets it apart from the norm.

The Notebook (2004)

Greatest love story of all time!?
26 June 2005
I had been circling around this film for some time. I am not usually one to jump on love story's, but I do love a good drama. I feel silly writing this, but what really made me want to see this movie after all was that it was mentioned on "The O.C" as the best love story ever.

I know this film probably does not contain anything you have not seen before, but it is just simply told so well that you are totally engulfed in the whole story.

Also Ryan Gosling again delivers an Oscar worthy performance and this film certainly should have been nominated for movie of the year.

As for Rachel McAdams, I did not recognize her from Mean Girls. She just looks ten times more beautiful in The Notebook.
