Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
A Missed Opportunity
The highly anticipated Mr & Mrs Smith TV show, inspired by the action-packed film of the same name, unfortunately falls short of expectations. Despite the potential for an engaging and thrilling series, the show struggles with a lackluster narrative, uninspired dialogue, and a peculiar take on the characters.
One of the most glaring issues with the show is its tendency to prioritize romantic interactions over the intensity of the missions at hand. Instead of portraying the titular characters as skilled professionals, the series often veers into a strange territory where every mission feels like a forced date night. This approach diminishes the credibility of the characters and undermines the core essence of the spy genre.
The conversations between Mr and Mrs Smith are a particular disappointment. Rather than showcasing sharp wit, clever banter, or engaging dialogue, the exchanges come off as flat and forced. The chemistry that should be the backbone of such a series is sorely lacking, leaving viewers yearning for the dynamic and compelling interactions that made the original film a success.
Moreover, the pacing of the show feels sluggish, contributing to an overall sense of boredom. The lack of a gripping storyline and the decision to prioritize romantic subplots over action sequences result in a series that feels stagnant and fails to hold the audience's attention.
The show's laziness is apparent not only in its narrative choices but also in the execution of its action sequences. Instead of delivering thrilling and well-choreographed stunts, the action scenes often feel half-hearted and uninspired. This lack of attention to detail in the action department further detracts from the overall viewing experience.
Additionally, the show is marred by a stark contrast in performances between the main actors. While the male lead seems to be trying hard to engage the audience, injecting energy into his role, the female actor's lackluster performance is evident. Her portrayal comes across as disinterested and uninspired, creating a noticeable imbalance that further hampers the overall viewing experience. The chemistry between the two leads, crucial for a show of this nature, is unfortunately undermined by the female actor's seemingly indifferent approach to her role.
In conclusion, the Mr & Mrs Smith TV show fails to live up to the excitement and intrigue promised by its source material. With a dull narrative, uninspiring dialogue, and a misguided emphasis on romantic subplots, the series misses the mark on what could have been a thrilling addition to the spy genre. While the concept had potential, the execution ultimately leaves viewers longing for the excitement and charisma of the original film.
The Winchesters (2022)
Bad story, Horrible actors, miles away from SN
Huge fan, watched SN twice (yes, all of it)
I don't normally write reviews but I just felt like I had to, the pilot forced me, its just horrible... like tales of the fears of the teals of the walking dead, feels so far away from the amazing chemistry and stories they had in SN.
Watching these actors trying so hard, feeling it in every single sentence... Mary is okish but John is just... they both fit the looks but his act and script is like that kid you tell not to go out where the monsters are and he goes there and "creates" a forced plot.
Overall 3/10 just because its related to SN, they should of stopped at the pilot and make a U turn, but guess their pilot test was filled with girls that wanted to say "I was in the pilot of Jensen Ackles show" so yeah thats what we got...
Hawkeye (2021)
Its for Kids, so yeah.... no thanks
This isnt Marvel, this isnt MCU, its Disney theme tv show with a guy shooting arrows, a show for kids to let them watch while you are watching real Marvel on the other room.
A Quiet Place Part II (2020)
Another movie ruined by dumb kids....
Why? Why do they keep adding these annoying kids to ruin the movies with their stupid actions...
No Activity (2017)
Went from 9 to 1 with the animated season 4
Not much to say, started season 4 was hoping animation is there for a few minutes... but nope its the entire season.
What a waste... was wasting so much for the show to return after crazy good 3 seasons.
The Fugitive (2020)
Is this Comedy?
Watched it all with a comedy vibe, so many good actors crumbled in one tiny story but with childish acting, cops and news, holes in story... looks more like a school project than a real movie.
One Night in Bangkok (2020)
Collateral with extra drama
Acting is weak, police officer tries to act like vin diesel.
Chewing the plot in the car over and over
Same idea like Collateral movie but with additional drama in the story, had to watch it because I appreciate Mark Dacascos so was worth the watch.
The Sinner (2017)
Should of stopped at season 1
Season 1 was 10 out of 10, Season 2 is 3 out of 10, what a waste.
I dont even wanna write a full explanation, empty review, same like the last episode of the season, really empty didnt end it right and the show itself was a "watch while you are with your phone the entire time" show.
Ozark (2017)
Gave 10 to season 1, but season 2.... meh
Season 1 was so much fun, thrilling, interesting and light.
Season 2 is very very dull, boring and dark, impossible to enjoy and play next episode right away which we were doing while watching season 1.
Seven Seconds (2018)
Great acting, nice story but horrible ending
11 Hours to watch and to end up with a horrible ending, we got a cop that lied on trial, this is a felony especially since it happened during a criminal case. He said he was looking at the statue, well you cant see it and its a fact, so basically sitting crying and lying to the jury in their face and still getting that joke of a punishment. His wife told him that his buddys wanted to kill him and he didn't care lol but he kept repeating "I'm a man!, I will be a man and deal with it like a man" every episode.... Its not about being satisfied from the ending but more about how ridicules that court and sentence were. We know he hit him, we know he was there for 27min! and yet instead of getting 30y he gets barely 1. No questions how the witness found dead a day before court, yeah probably coincidence. basically no one cared that this guy killed him and left what a joke.
The most sad thing is that no one will return me the 11 hours I spent watching it, instead of "escaping reality" and enjoying a TV Show I got a show that wasted my time and didn't leave me satisfied, I don't mind bad endings instead of predictable good endings but this show was so slowwwwwwwwww that we DESERVED some satisfaction for just watching this paint go dry type of show.
Leatherface (2017)
Finn Jones in it.... that's enough to know
Horrible acting, horrible horrible horrible. If you have seen him in The Defenders and Iron Fist you would understand what I'm talking about... why is he still getting casted? he is just HORRIBLE Acting is obviously fake, but he keeps having the same face for the entire 2 shows and all his movies, always acting like a child, it just doesn't fit the roles he keeps getting, like a black stain that goes deep and ruins every scene he is in, unbearable to watch.
Despicable Me 3 (2017)
Huge fan disappointing - Waste of time

This is my first review, only because I'm extremely mad. They advertise the minions everywhere, in McDonald's, in every single movie they show a minion affiliated clip, in YouTube, on shirts and flip flop, on school bags and lunch boxes, almost everything possible from a toothbrush to winter gloves and pencils, everything got a minion on it, but where are the minions in the movie? because there are none in the movie, only about 5min total of seeing minions all the rest are the human characters of the story, I came to see THE MINIONS, not some family drama, the kids came to see the funny minions, everyone from age 4 to 50 are enjoying the funny minions but there Aren't any minions in the movie. Where are the minions which I paid for? they are in 90% of the trailer, they are on every film poster, but NONE in the movie, Extremely disappointed
