Deadcon (2019)
Not Even Worth 1 Star
The overall concept of the film had potential.
The film starts off with this guy who is attending techcon but while developing his software it failed and he makes a deal with this kid Bobby. Now it's present day, Youtubers are all in town for Viewcon and people mysteriously start dying and a child goes missing. That's all. Literally, that's all NO explanation to Bobby, what happened to the little boy who went with Ashley, why is Bobby killing everyone, etc. It just ends
Riverdale (2017)
Major Disappointment!!
Season 1: was pretty good. Season 2: alright kind of boring. Season 3: was by far the worst season ever. It was all over the place with too many stories. This gargoyles game is just ridiculous. A board game killing people this is worst than ouji board. Please do yourself a favor and don't watch this.
Jane the Virgin (2014)
Good At First but then Downhill
Where to start?
When this show first aired I watched it faithfully. However, I lost interest in season 2. Currently I binge watching season 2. I'm starting to realize why I lost interest.
Jane started off as sweet but in S2 she became so full of herself. She dumps Michael because she fell for Raefel and she felt safe with Michael. She loved that Rafael encouraged her to continue writing. However, Raefel breaks up with Jane because he had a bunch of family drama and thought it was best to breakup with her even though he loved her. Jane decides a week later she still has feelings for Michael and wants what they had back. I got so annoyed with this cat & mouse game with Jane. She never understood others reasons for what they did but if she lies we're supposed to accept it. Then they made Michael look desperate he cannot stay away from Jane's family basically trying to force a relationship. Oh guess what, she randomly marries Michael.
Lastly, they're carrying on this story with Sinrostro forever. Can we get a new case now?
Greenleaf (2016)
It's ok!
Coming from a PK, the church is nothing like this. Yes, churches have their problems but not t this extreme. It also proves the stereotypes of the pastor and family having all this money/big houses/ fancy cars. This family sold their souls for money and fame!
Another note, this story about the perve of an uncle and the homosexuality storyline is just lingering on.
The acting was pretty good which is the only good thing about it. Definitely has potential but I wished they would show the truth about being a Pastor.
Lady-Like (2017)
Officially the Worst Movie EVER
The film is about a girl who pushes her best friend to date this guy. Eventually, she becomes jealous of her friend for being in a relationship and completely feeling left out. Which I believe if the writers actually took the time to write the script and not just come up with some crap last minute it could have been good. The writers TRIED to make it funny with cringy jokes which was a fail. It was just pointless to watch. I hoped it would get better but nahhh
Only Mine (2019)
Had Potential (Spoilers)
The movie is about a girl who meets an officer and immediately they began dating. After, a few dates, we notice the cop is possessive. He randomly in her home, shows up to her friends house while she babysitting, corners her with a rack and tells her to keep their conversations to herself because people are starting to talk. However, she told her mother who told the police who did absolutely nothing. So people in the town turn their back on her because they believe she's starting rumors about the cop. Cop ends up shooting her in hopes he left her for dead. She survived on a mission to get "revenge" that she did.
There was no build up to the relationship of the lead actress and the cop. They went on a date and next thing you know he's a stalker. Also, you do not know how old she is. We just know that she applied to college. She look about 16 or 17. While the cop look like he's in his late 30s.
American Satan (2017)
Trash
I'm not a rock n roll fan. Just seeing the trailer I thought this movie was going to be good. I came into the movie open-minded. I learned from this movie is rock n roll/heavy metal is related to the devil.
The movie is about Johnny and his bandmates moves to Hollywood in hopes of becoming stars. After arriving to Hollywood, A creepy old man offered them a deal. They have to sacrifice someone to seal the deal. Johnny is skeptical about sacrificing someone but he feels its the only thing he can do to save his mom who has cancer. Things starts to go great but he eventually finds himself participating in drugs, violence, and sex. The movie ends with the devil (creepy old guy) telling him. His next act is to shoot a mentally old man on stage during their performance. He refuses but he sees his mother is dating the devil. The curtains are opening, johnny is on stage with the gun to his head, and the devil standing next to him. Johnny kills the mentally unstable man which lands him in jail. While in jail, his ex forgives him and will be by his side. He now is represented by the best lawyer in LA. Movie ends.
The movie basically summed up what many people believe about the music industry and the devil. If you want to be famous then you have to sell to your soul. I think this movie had potential to be good with better actors and a better script. The script was all over the place.
Kidnap (2017)
Awesome Movie!!!
I'm shocked for all of the negative reviews. This movie was actually pretty good. Yes, the first 10 minutes when she was at work and the customers were giving her a hard time made me cringe. The acting in that scene was terrible!!!
Halle Berry character is a single mother who is a waitress at a local diner. After her shift, she takes her son Frankie to a park. She steps away for a schedule for an important phone call informing her that her ex husband wants full custody. Her phone dies. She returns only to find that her son was missing. She notices a woman pushing her son into a car and take off. Of course, Halle follows in hopes of getting her child back. She is on high speed chase not to lose the vehicle. However, there were attempts to get her to stop following them. Yet every time she lost them or went along with the kidnappers plan she caught right back up with them. Its crazy that not a single person could help her including the police. Eventually she manage to kill the kidnappers, get her son back along with 2 girls who were also kidnapped.
There were some scenes that was really annoying or cliche but overall it was good movie. It was different, not like all those other kidnapping movies. Halle lost her son and got him back all in one day without any help.
