Selection of the best french movies that exists. So enjoy, pop a baguette under your arm, wear a baret, pop a cigarette or croissant in your mouth and practice your french, while getting a taste of the French 'joie de vivre'.
Best Animations

My favourite animated movies or series. Many of these like 'The red turtle' or 'The breadwinner' show that animations are not merely for the entertainment of children, but can also be a medium of touching, amusing and award-winning movies for adults.
Best of Arthouse

These movies all qualify under what I would view as great arthouse movies, movies that make you think and are not necessarily made for the general public. In my eyes they are as view-able literature.

Jeugdjournaal (1981)
Making the news accessible
19 March 2020 - 1 out of 1 users found this review helpful.
The Jeugdjournaal is a daily news broadcast for children produced by the Dutch public service broadcaster NOS since 1981. Many of its presentators have since moved on to the regular news broadcast of NOS.
Jeudgjournaal greatly makes news accessible to children. The broadcast does not shy away from heavy subjects and is free of the pretence that certain subjects would not interest children. The programme also shows that it takes children seriously by including interviews with them on current affairs and enabling them to form their own opinions.
That is why I believe that the Jeugdjournaal is a great news broadcast for children without it being obviously so.
