I identify with the girl in the front row of Prof. Jones class. This is a classic film with an iconic character - if he wasn't a dreamboat it would be a different story entirely though. Fun to watch how effects have changed over time but I really enjoyed this one.

Other than the slightly circular plot line going on - this is a pretty stock standard revengeful action movie. I do tend to skim over pocket-knife fighting scenes but I hardly think that affected my viewing experience. Nothing overly symbolic stood out for me in this movie other than the significant use of blue tones; I did like how in one scene red tones were heavily contrasted with it as it kept things a little more visually interesting. There was alot of hand-to-hand contact action but it wasn't shot as closely as usual so it seemed a little bulky at times. HOWEVER Keanu Reeves was of course the main character in this movie so I cannot fault him at all. I generally liked it :)
